I am planning to get 5750G, but i am worried about the heat issues. I has got only 1 fan?
Scared the laptop get spoilt fast becoz of high temp. Then i read about Acer TimelineX 3820TG http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/1606856 saying it has got 2 fans and good heat management. because its got a lower price, i am leaning towards it rather than wait for asus n53sn. Also wondering about heat for the asus n53sn. Sifu's out there any thoughts? |

Also wondering about heat for the asus n53sn. Sifu's out there any thoughts? Idle is around 40-50 degree celcius only while gaming at most is 80+ without cooler. Different of N53SN is it is using GT550M which is clocked higher than GT540M of 5750G and their speakers and not forgetting their built. If u cant stand the small screen of gaming u better dun get 3820TG, either 5750G and N53SN is good, it all depends on ur budget. This post has been edited by [G]ooD_DaY: Mar 9 2011, 04:33 PM |

Is 80 degree celsius acceptable for the GPU? I recalled having a not-so-pleasant experience of cooking my pair of hands due to the overheating GPU.

budget not really an issue. prefer a light and portable one. but i guess if light and portable mostly wont have such good specs. So N53N GPU is better than 5750g with better speakers and better build but MORE EXPENSIVE than 5750g by about RM600. I talked to dealer today, now new 5750g comes with 2GB dedicatied for GPU. Previously was 1GB..... He said now 5750g deal is VERY attractive. QUOTE(ping0613 @ Mar 9 2011, 07:03 PM) if playing game, 80C is acceptable Wont that be a little bit too hot for your palm? or is it just the GPU is 80C? |
