Why should you? They don't deserve any sympathy, trying to sell underpowered and underspecced cars at bloated prices. Despite all that has happened lately, Toyota and Honda sales personnel are still amongst the most arrogant people to talk to. They don't even try to sell the good points of their cars anymore. Their sales pitch consist primarily of making derogatory and disparaging remarks about other cars.

News is overrated.

If I spent every day of my life feeling sorry for somebody, I wouldn't be able to do anything. Why is it that there wasn't anybody here feeling for the New Zealanders. Or is it their bad luck that they only have cows, instead of car factories?

This is a Forte thread. Take your off-topics somewhere else.

The SAs at TTDI, Kota Damansara and Naza Autoworld on the Federal Highway told me the same thing. Then I called City Ruby in Bandar Sunway, where someone named Jason assured me they have a 6-speed for testdrive. I haven't had time to go there yet.

They all appear on the website, so...

In any case, I could care less. If they are not willing to spare one car for test drives, they are losing potential customers like me who want to try out a car instead of buying a car 'blind'. They are selling Kias, not Ferraris, Porsches or Maseratis.

If I do end up with a Forte, my commission would go to the dealership which satisfies my concerns.

If you don't mind the trouble of traveling all the way to Serdang Raya and talk to Vincent (Naza dealer, CyberKewl posted his number somewhere on this thread), they have 6 Speed 1.6 for test drive. He is by far the best SA i've ever dealt with as he took the time and effort to explain every single thing about the car to me and I straight book my car there. His service is top notch and as far as I am dealing with him now, he is still living up to his words.

Note: I have no benefits for promoting him, just sharing my personal experience as I really dislike services given nowadays by a lot of shops (be it for cars, clothes, etc, the sales person are really horrible sometimes!) Vincent's service got me really impressed, so why not give him a try?

I've went to a few Naza center (they are Naza Branch), the service there are usually bad, they tend to just brush you off or just simply explain a bit a bit.. shakehead.gif And yes, they don't have 1.6 or 2.0 car for test drive, those available at Dealers are their own car test drive unit, so you can't drive far (not on highway etc).

if we're not satisfied with the mileage, we can always ask for record.
they have them in their system. basically you'll know whether your unit is abused for test drive or genuine case like they transport it back from one showroom to another.

Exactly my thought when I went shopping for a Forte.

Naza showroom in TTDI did not even bother to acknowledge my existance. The sales person was MIA, the receptionist just looked up from her phone conversation with an annoyed look. At least the Mazda & Pug sales persons at the same showroom bothered to talk to me. Dont think have a 6 spped test drive unit.

Naza Puchong showroom's salesman was OK. Not very convincing & if I was 50-50, he would lose the deal. Refused to give anything. Had no 6 speed to test drive. Bull $hit that they had ready stock but when I asked exactly how many 2.0L & what colour in stock, without checking the stock list, he said enough. I know when a sales person is bull $hitting coz' I see it every day.

Then ask a P2 sales manager friend for help & in less than 5 mins, he told me that Diversified Resources Klang branch has one unit 2.0L BRight Silver in stock. If I want, they will reserve it for me right now. In less than 40 mins, I was in Bukit Tinggi Klang test driving a 2.0L 6 speed & immediately wrote a cheque for deposit.

The branch manager & assist. manager who served me was most helpful & worked hard to make sure the car was registered in 3 days (after the full payment was made).

So, they got the sale & truly deserved the commission. I now do not hesitate to recommend this dealer. They also have a Kia showroom branch in Kepong. Unlike other Naza showrooms, Diversified Resources HAS ready Forte stock available for immediate registration.

Naza showrooms normally book the car only after you put down the deposit. Hence the waiting period of as long as 2-3 months.

Biasa-lah... showroom nampak cantik, tapi tak ada wang beli stock. Beli bila ada tempahan dan deposit, bayar lepas 30 hari kredit.
