please read the captured picture carefully.......the estimate is based on the 2l version.......

I see thanks. Based on picture 84k was the upper limit? 76k is just the sum epo wanted to insure la....Probably the nominal value is around 80k?

If 2.0L really sell for 76k for after 1 year i think it's worth buying drool.gif

if based on the average value of 76k after 1 year, it is a drop on 15k.........which is about 17%........a bit more than the average 1st year depreciation of 15% ......

NO... actually i believe there's no relationship between amount insured & market price.
it's up to us on how much we want to insured but normally insurance company not allowed it coz loss profit maaa...
eg. if the car not accident for a year. remember no accident.
if insured rm10k, premium paid = RM200, they'll get RM200
if insured rm80k, premium paid = RM1000, they'll get RM1000
so u want RM200 or RM1000...???

i put 68k coz don't want to pay high premium. but if u check market price for 2nd hand, the price will hover around 82k
i also can insured 10k but pls bear in mind :-
- if lost, they'll pay 10k only although market price is higher than that (tell me what car has a value 10k after 1 year...???)
- if accident, they'll pay max up to 10k only, the extra u need to top-up

also pls bear in mind, above only available via online. via counter may not applicable. u need to follow the amount they propose...

80-82k is the best...

Means if really 76k it is very cheap, since it is 2.0L.

Actually just pointing out to limeuu that probably 76k is not the real value. So based on your info, it's more closer to 82k la, makes sense. Forte still has some value thumbup.gif

Talking about renewing insurance, let me share my hot and fresh story from 10 minutes ago:

Got my car 2.0 last year (2010) March and want to renew my insurance and call Etiqa. The agent check my record and tell me:

Sir, your policy expired in 24th March 2010. We cannot renew for you. Your policy actually started in year 2009 notworthy.gif

Has anyone of you got your Forte in year 2009? Don't diam diam la, share with me pls, hahahahah...I was really shocked shocking.gif

End up, need to call Naza Kia hotline and ask them to settle this. The Naza lady will call Insurance company.

Will continue the story later....

question...

when you pay the rest of downpayment?

during signing the hire purchase agreement or after?

basically once the HP agreement signed, how long is the process to get the car out from showroom?
