In that case it's not a flat battery. Looks like your brake sensor needs readjustment. Go SC for readjustment.

In the mean time, you can still start by pressing the start button for 10 secs (without the need to press the brake)

Ya, you are right. Battery is ok. That's what i did to start the engine. If not, my car would have been towed due to ignorance by NAZA toll free technical personnel.

ITS NOT NORMAL. go SC complain. ask them to compare with test drive unit. brows.gif

mine is 6 speed 1.6 sx, no wonder its close to your RPM rating (from the pic is around 2.3-2.4k@110, right?), i guess probably not bad for 1.6 tongue.gif

err bro, doesnt these 2 slightly mismatched?
mind to enlighten us.

if ur fine with it's power its fine...i believe the final ratio for the 6th gear at 110 should be better than the 4 speeders
do u know what is the value? drool.gif
actually this is the real thing i wanna know smile.gif , instead of rpm@110km/h, but i ask the latter since every owner can easily know that..hehe. tongue.gif
forgot to ask for the brochure/ pamphlet at the showroom, after 'playing' with the car.. sweat.gif

Singapore news, Well this really shows the forte is doing very well in Singapore too. So Honda City, where is the top 10 list. No where to be found. But dont worry, Honda will always have a new facelift model very soon.

This one is when forte/cerato was initially launched in singapore, currently i think forte is number 7 or 8 if not mistaken in the top 10 list but still doing fine. However we should take note that it may not be fair to compare malaysia sales with singapore sales for forte (not just because of naza) because singapore u need to scrap your car every what, 5 - 10 years if not mistaken right? So singaporeans are not so worried about forte breaking down after 5 years or so because by then they'd have to scrap/sell it (not sure can actually sell or must scrap). But if you look at forte's sales in other parts of the world, it is doing well actually, here most malaysians are still used to thinking that kia = fuel guzzer, kia = poor resale value, kia = not stylish (not true anymore now!), kia = expensive spare parts, etc..so that's why we dont see too many forte's around (which makes the car more exclusive at least if you compare with our dugong friend or honda city) smile.gif

It's usually 2.4K rpm for 110kmh.

My best computer-calculated FC is 5.6L/100km... constant 100kmh cruising. But you'll rarely get these kind of readings unless all you do is cruise on highways. Get stuck in urban crawls and up it goes to 11.

Yupp..agree with u. It is quite hard to get that FC figure. I need to tame & ease down my foot during overtaking to get this kind of figure. My best computer-calculated FC is 5.9L/100km..constant 110km/h cruising all the way from Tanjung Malim to KL (autocruise). The 6.1L/100km FC pic that u saw in my previous post was taken during my journey from Alor Setar to KL with constant speed of 110km/h (mostly) also by autocruising. I guess the hilly road of Perak did contribute to the extra 0.2L/100km in FC. Anyway..for a normal 4 speed 2.0L car , getting 6.xL/100km during highway speed cruising can be considered as very2 good already.
