i think IMHO, the best part is the 6 speed change. and the gear knobs, it is so dam nice, i dont quite like the old 4 speed gate shift type, very old. very dinasour. most continental car now have this straight down design, with +- on the D section. And light the PRND up. Also not forgetting a very nice fake leather like wrapping, reminds me of the Golf, and Passat CC although not exactly the same.

And the cool thing that most cars dont have,,the screen on the rear view camera. That is like the in thing now man. Tell me, Honda City and Vios got a not?

dont worry about negative comments, they not driving the car, you are driving it. Most importantly you love it it will love you back. By the sounds of it most people who post negative comments are either got their choice wrong or they are trying to stop Kia to be famous because they feel that their honda and toyota will be the past.

As we all can see, Kimchi's are much more elegant, exciting, value for money than the dull and boring sushi. Now Naza giving 5 year unlimited warranty, Toyota 3 years 100k km. Honda 3 years 100k km, So if you get forte, get a 5 year plan then you are save, all covered the first 5 years. if the service center improves dramatically, the Sushi's is sure being threatened by the Kimchi's,

i tell you one thing lah, Japanese car's in malaysia are no different from P1 and P2, not in terms of quality, in terms of the value they give to you. Thats for sure already. Dont agree no problem. It's a fact. And again people will blame the Taxes. Well it is so unfortunate about our country.

i think between the 3 companies that Naza is handling, Chevy probably is the one least people buy, Dont know why, maybe it needs another year. Now no one talks about Chevy Cruze anymore. No more news, hardly on the road and the car suppose to be a big hit in this world but it seems more people are talking about Korean cars rather than Cruze. Dont know why. By right Cruze should be a great car, but it dont seem to do very well. Kia and Peugeot is doing very very well, by the time frame they have it is rapidly growing. We see more Peugeots now compare to early 2000's and it is now very common, and its getting better. With more of the model line up coming this and next year we probably see even more Peugeots and Kia's around. Next up Peugeot 508, place in a great price section then it be a hit again. Stealing some of Honda Civic, Accord, and Altis and Camry buyers.
Hoho, are you feeling the threat Fanboys of toyota an Honda? hehe no offense, but Peugeot's are really sexy in design.

Singapore news, Well this really shows the forte is doing very well in Singapore too. So Honda City, where is the top 10 list. No where to be found. But dont worry, Honda will always have a new facelift model very soon.

i thinking if i get the 2.0 and change to a 15 inch rims, would it be ok kah, besides the looks i probably gain on power, speed efficiency and cheaper tyres. Of course Michelin tyres. But probably looks weird.

Anyway i wanna ask. what is the advantage of having bigger rims? is the ride more comfortable? I more of a fuel saver guy. thinking of every way to save petrol. Make the full use of every drop of that golden liquid sprayed into the combustion chamber.

just curious only.. anyway if 16 inch will do should be fine lah. only tyre cost really expensive loh on a 17 inch, cannot buy PP3 liau loh.

hey, i wanna ask the new forte FL owners, When you are in reverse mode, the rear LCD camera works. So i wanna ask can you see anything clearly during the night? just curious.

i see means no spot light for the camera lah, unless the reverse light is bright enough,

in malaysia probably none. but other countries maybe. But unfortunately those cars with smart entry has no anti hijack, Sonata, forte, Nissan Latio, suzuki swift.

Probably you got to install yourself, but i do remember if you have the key outside of the car, it may have a sound telling you key not in, have to double confirm this. But in the boot the key left there the boot cannot close.

simple, can you start the car with no key in it? if cannot then it is a immobilizer.

i understand that when you have no battery on your smart key, there is a manual key to get into the car, then you have to place the smart key into a compartment in the middle storage area to activate the car, if not it will make noise.

fantastic, fantastic, dont need to buy expensive car to get this, if it can come down and close as well even better. haha..

went to see the FL in naza 222. dam boring, no cars available, all lock up, instead went to glenmarie. but only 2 sales, dam a lot of ppl, but just got to touch touch the car, 2.0, cannot bring for a ride, but a lot of 1.6sx ready to be delivered. getting more and more forte on the road, thats very very good.

tomorrow will be the official launch of the forte koup and the forte 6 speed, yeah!!!

hallo. i wanna confirm something with New FL owners, on the 1.6SX, when you want to change gear using Paddle shift, do you need to shift the gear stick to triptronic.

While the 2.0 SX you do not need to do so, just pull the gear changes.

This one issue is very common on the forte luckily you know about it. Anyway i wanna ask you Yeowa, if you want to use your paddle shifter, do you need to slide the triptronic into manual mode before able to use the paddle shifter? Or just press the minus sign the car will downshift.

went high and low searching for a car of my choice. Went back to Kia showroom still feel the forte is the best buy for the moment.

Probably an optima? probably a 508? probably a Prius? who knows. But forte is always in my heart although i might not end up owning one.

you change to PS3 sure noisy lah, can try primacy LC or Energy, PP2, PS3 all for performance one, Not much noise insulation. Also any tyre after certain KM will make noise one. Only thing is Forte noise insulation not good loh.
