Im using a Hoya HMC UV on my 70300VR.
should I switch it with my B+W UV-Haze filter or just go naked? tongue.gif

most people buy the 2470 for weddings.. but for portraits on FF, the 85 1.4D & 85 1.4G is 2nd to none!
*
I stick to my 16-35 and 70-200 first, enough to cover mostly everything

i suggest u dont use the hoya hmc on the 70-300vr, im using that same combo...or at least i was...now no more.
here are the 100% crop samples i shot this evening.
i took a few shots with filter, and few without filter of the same spot to make sure its consistent.
i guess the differences should be obvious.

with filter.

w/o filter.

Yup.. noticeable difference in sharpness & noise too. Guess I have to look at heliopan's filters for the 2470

Their prices are inconsistent. Gotta depends on luck. Try Bo Eing @ Sg Wang (the upstairs one) and Cosmos @ LYP. Just ask around Tarita, Cam World etc etc laugh.gif
