It will work, but you don't have metering nor auto focus. Everything is manual.

That should be fine. I like manual focus and playing around it first before getting serious...

The cheap 18-35 n cheap 50 1.4G..ordered the 24-70 n the kedai told me 3 weeks will sampai..till now no news yet..(or maybe haven't 3 weeks yet ) waoh this is bad poison

I won't get a tamron if i were you. photo quality for long range lens such as tamron 18-270mm won't be good. please correct me if i'm wrong.
i will prefer 70-300mm VR

It's an allrounder lens. If one don't mind carrying more than one lens, then go with the 70300. The 18270 offers great versatility, but not so good iq.

Yeah just a few days ago at Funan Singapore with my friends, coz the shop didn't have the stock for the 24-120 my friend was looking so he ask us to try this out which is a bit cheaper but got longer range.

And I ask him to let me try the 70-200 2.8 too. The 28-300 at 300mm indoor I have to bump up the ISO to 6400 and there's some vignetting altho the image is quite sharp. However, when I compare it with the 70-200 it's like heaven and earth. But it's okay if you're not too demanding it's a nice lens that offer pretty sharp image but it's a lil too dark sometimes thru the viewfinder especially compare to the 70-200 which is a much faster lens.

Just wanna say it's not that useful in low light, even indoor in a mall I have to use ISO 6400, can't imagine in low light, 25600?
