QUOTE(abubin @ Apr 5 2011, 05:11 PM) tm contractor just finished installing all the cables but they said signal problem. So they just left and ask me to sign form with rejection. They left the devices there and said their work done. Now up to tm people to fix the signal problem. I tested the phone can call but the unifi cannot connect. What a disappointment Bro if yr matter not solved within 7 working days do PM. Ill help bring this matter to TM.Now I don't know what to do. Just wait until tomorrow to see if any response from telekom. Or else, they just need to take back all the devices and consider my place not service yet. sob sob |

QUOTE(iipohbee @ Apr 5 2011, 09:36 PM) Telephone number? Based on the map that you posted, it seems that they will only offered HSBB to residential subscribers for those who are stayed at HIGH ECONOMIC IMPACT ZONE a.k.a RICH PERSON Areas...1st areas in Ipoh would be Tasek(05-54x xxxx) and Jelapang/Meru/Kampung Manjoi(05-52x xxxx) ![]() Other areas will be only opened for industrial subscriber.... and for residential, no choice, need to stay back with ADSL Streamyx... Gosh! I really hope they will implement VDSL 2 for residential who are stayed at sub-urban area like me... What I want is fast UPLOAD speed.... |

Hey, thanks for prompt reply. my house phone fixed line is under my father's name which passed away few years back, but Streamyx account is under my name... that's why i wonder do i got any difficulty to terminate both services? |

QUOTE(redrum77 @ Apr 6 2011, 01:28 PM) Generally speaking in Malaysia, the only internet lines that comes with defined SLA's are leased lines. You are not paying enough for Unifi BIZ to have such levels of SLA's.Added on April 6, 2011, 2:39 pm QUOTE(AjkR06 @ Apr 6 2011, 07:47 AM) Based on the map that you posted, it seems that they will only offered HSBB to residential subscribers for those who are stayed at HIGH ECONOMIC IMPACT ZONE a.k.a RICH PERSON Areas... You are not seriously expecting TM to pay $$$ to put fibre lines to kampungs or small towns and expect these people to pay several hundred RM per month for internet access, are you?Other areas will be only opened for industrial subscriber.... and for residential, no choice, need to stay back with ADSL Streamyx... :( Gosh! I really hope they will implement VDSL 2 for residential who are stayed at sub-urban area like me... What I want is fast UPLOAD speed.... FYI VDSL2 only has very nice upload speeds if your copper line is only a few hundred metres to the DSLAM. With the kind of distances for most residential areas, upload speeds wouldn't be much better than ADSL1/2. This post has been edited by charymsylyn: Apr 6 2011, 02:39 PM |
