hm...tried plug usb to pc and have a drive scan for error and let it automatically fix error, I checked around , seems like your file partition got error caused by enhance kernel.

before reflash your phone, perhaps try an upgrade to your enhance kernel

alternately, you can check around forum here for ways to try before reflash it  laugh.gif

http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php?t=39091&page=5

add note : i recall previous discussion here, install certain version of enhance kernel will overwrite the camera driver which actually cause the camera stop working, then fcam released an alternate driver for enhance kernel, you might search that one out or upgrade to newer enhance kernel version see can overwrite the driver again to fix it

Earlgay999 : Perhaps you can try the apt-get update command within the X-term? I think I encounter this problem before and this solve it for me. Perhaps you can give it a try?

suicideroach : You need to download an application named 'CSSU Features Configuration' to enable that option. Or at least that was how I did it.

as flame said, backup your pictures, contact, sms, etc...those personal things, for system, just flash it laugh.gif

I think there is a small program call backupmenu, i didn't install it, heard it will carbon copy whole phone and can replace it back later, some sifus have tried it, wait them to tell you the results if they still exist here whistling.gif

hi to all the gurus, I just recently had a problem with my n900. it seems that i can't boot normally since the past few days. all i get is a dim nokia logo screen and then it switches off on it's own. however, when i connect it to a charger or pc, it boots up just fine. reflashed a couple of times and the problem persists. i hope someone out there can help.. thanks

Hi guys, how much a rubber case for n900? I want to buy a case that allows me to use the hardware keyboard without taking the handset out of the case.

i doubt it, since i have it fully charge and it lasts as normal. however, when i go into screenlock, the green lights stays lit. i'm afraid it might have something to do with kernel power or something..before this i did the battery patch thingy

alphaz: Last I checked, you probably need to fork out RM40ish because AFAIK there's no phone accessory seller I know of that sells a rubber case for the N900... worse case is that you might need to order it overseas (hence the RM40 thing ;( )
