I always thought Everco top cat muffler is expensive.
Does it makes a differences in replacing those valve seals, intake and exhaust gasket aswell? Some said old valve seals equivalent to lost compression.
Most of the workshop needed two days. If together with PnP cost 1.6k and within a weeks time.
topcat mufflers 280 above ok already, coz normally ppl wud pay 100-250 for babyshit.Does it makes a differences in replacing those valve seals, intake and exhaust gasket aswell? Some said old valve seals equivalent to lost compression.
Valve seals shouldnt cause compression loss, it'll only cause lil bit of blue smoke and oil consumption. What causes comp loss in the head is the valve not sitting properly in the valve seats.. therefore mechs grind them so they sit properly and test for leaks to ensure they don't have any air/pressure/liquid going through the seats back into the intake manifold/exhaust manifold
