Done my 1st 1000km service today. But I only got waive on labor charges. Enjin oil, filter etc need to pay. Is that norm where car booked after 15th Nov 2010 will only get free labour charges?
I thought I am entitled for 3 free services incl of labor and part |

Did you get a voucher booklet to pay for these? That specify the engine oil, part and labor FOC? You must present this voucher to get full waiver for the cost of servicing. Better go ask your SA about this.

During collection of the car, I was given a voucher booklet but the voucher was stamped 'VOID",. but the SA told me proton will accept it. But today, CoE rejected the voucher and I chase the SA. Then they come out with free labour coupon for 1k, 10k and 20k km. But I still need to pay for the parts.

Oh... so weird. Is yours a 2.0? I know the free service+parts was extended for the 1.8, but maybe not for the 2.0.

QUOTE(SothysSaleShop @ Feb 7 2011, 07:50 PM) I have the Meg Bug&Tar remover, its a good buy and a must have. Just spray and wipe off the tar, so easy, and its very gentle to the paint coating, and it smells like coconut too try not to use clay on new car, the wax will do the job just fine. even for non use car clay is abvisible to use 3-4 times a yr only. as it kinda take away abit of paint coating on the car |
