I'm actually concerned about my spoiler mounting too. Nothing was done to help prevent rust, like coating in paint, grease or silicone. Should I remove and DIY that myself?

Wow.. great video tip and a hard standard for locals to match. First of all, I am not sure if any workshop has that template to make the holes. Secondly does the OEM spoiler has the rubber washer and the adhesives as the one in the video.

That's pretty much unecessary. The inspira and local lancer boots have pre marked mounting points on the underside of the boot lid. Just drill from inside out. The downside is, you'll get the burrs on the outside, but it won't be much of a problem as the spoiler foam padding will be sitting on it. Thanks for sharing the vid though. Now I'm more confident in disassembling mine and greasing it proper to prevent rust (hopefully)

weird the manual states the gearbox' capacity is at 7.8 litres, RM200X2 = RM400, but those lancer owners service their CVTF for RM270. rclxub.gif
