Let's hope they have are as accountable as AMZ when it comes to shipping. AMZ will re-ship if you complain about non-receiving for your parcel. I am not sure if B&N will do the same. This is the first time I am buying from B&N and it gave me not a very nice feeling about their shipment.

Lethal Weapon 3 is quit good in quality, much better than LW1. anyone got Lethal Weapon 2? any cmment?

was watching Mary & Max the other day...

How this did not get nominated for an oscar baffles me...
absolutely brilliant animated movie that makes "Up" seem like a happy episode of the teletubbies...

The PQ of the bluray is reference also... brilliant definition

just asking, anyone got The Thin Red Line? Is it good.

i'm really interested but the price so expensive.

The Thin Red Line is the holy grail of reference blurays to demo my home setup....

Brilliant (& long)movie with the highest rated PQ of "real movie"(not CGI or animated) and a whop-ass soundtrack also...
Also has tonnes of special features, interviews and extra footage if you into that sort of thing

Testament to the superior PQ can be found here at the "PQ Tier Thread for Bluray":
http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthread.php?t=1168342

perfect scores in reviews here:

Typically stop motion animated films has clear details compared to some animations as far as i've observed, and the one i would HIGHLY RECOMMEND will be "The Nightmare Before Christmas", "Corpse Bride" , "Coraline" .
Tim Burton's masterpiece! Not Coraline though.. blush.gif (Henry Selick)

Sadly I got the U.S boxset only with cardboard cover but it's sufficient enough since the PQ is practically the same for U.S and U.K. Alien PQ has lots of black crushes( especially on Yaphet Kotto's face), pinky flesh tones and unnatural blue. It's also a bit darker than any previous SD release. Quite impress with Aliens PQ but I miss the original metallic hues. The background look a bit more plastic than metal due to the new colors. Other than that, the sharpness and clarity is really good for both films. The least favorite of the bunch: Alien3 and Resurrection both appears a bit too soft at times.

Its perfectly normal with B&N if you are not a regular with their shipping procedure. Once you've submitted your order , there will be an automated confirmation email of your orders. You will then provided with a scheduled date to ship. Once the item sent out for shipment, there will be another automated email saying your item has been shipped. The estimated time scheduled by B&N for Standard shipping is 7 - 21 Business days. There's nothing to shout about on the shipment schedules & services but certainly it arrives safer than expected (based on my personal experience). To answer your question whether they will reship item if you have not received within the due date , yes..they will @ no additional charges and if your parcel arrives by any chance, you get to keep it as complimentary (i just had one entire order refunded for a mishap by them)

On less than many occasions , my packages has arrived late or even after delivery due date. All i need to do was an email to be sent and item will be shipped at no cost (immediately usually!). It's almost identical with the rest of the online retailers with the way of handling customers needs.

What was the problem you faced with B&N shipment?

To add something, B&N CS is not anything like Amazon CS.

I've received stuff late, but they cancel stuff as they wish so the shipping charges can change from what they quote at the beginning.

Highly recommend this movie to those who like this type of drama or those who like Robert De Niro and/or Robin Williams. thumbup.gif

This title will be released on March 29, 2011 for $13.99.

just notice AMZ UK shipping method is very "funny" if your order included PRE-ORDER & available stock.

AMZ US would ship the available unit to u first, then ship the Pre-order individually when they available. AMZ UK would waited for all together then only ship at once.
