UK's The King's Speech will release on May 2, 2011. So, getting US is better since US release on April 19, 2011.

QUOTE(Andrewtst @ Feb 7 2011, 07:10 PM) Just test minority report UK edition. It was clear and great transfer. And extra also in HD. Now I am curious how big the movie and transfer rate compare with US edition where review site said movie in around 47GB and extra all in second disc. This is obvious UK edition movie wont be that big as all squeeze in single 50GB disc. QUOTE(maskedchan @ Feb 8 2011, 04:14 PM) Already planning but budget always used to buy more BDs. Anyway, anyone notice recent price dropped around 16 hours ago for "I Spit on Your Grave [1978]"? I believe at that time most of the parcel for I Spit on Your Grave haven't really dispatch from Amazon. At least you haven't received dispatch notice through email from Amazon. Just wrote a love letter to CS and check my luck. |

QUOTE(Andrewtst @ Feb 10 2011, 10:41 AM) From here - http://www.blu-ray.com/news/?id=2944 1 very important thing is, sapphire series are Paramount's catalog releases, all Best Picture Oscar winners. So, only those movies belong to Paramount and ever won the Best Picture in Oscar will release under the Sapphire Series. Those non-Paramount movies will not release under "Sapphire Series" even theose movie won Best Picture in Oscar."The Sapphire Series will capitalize on the pristine picture and sound of the Blu-ray format to present each cinematic gem in the highest quality for the first time in two-disc, high definition sets." Similar like: Warner Bro./20th Century Fox - Digibook Paramount - Sapphire Series Sony - Blu-ray Essentials etc. This post has been edited by low98944: Feb 10 2011, 11:32 AM |

QUOTE(maskedchan @ Feb 11 2011, 09:26 PM) wondering which one more worth it.. I believe, the limited edition maybe got serial number that make it have more "value" that normal 5-discs edition. So, in the end, ask yourself, you want to pay extra to get this "serial number" or not? It is worth it? what you guy think? QUOTE(dariofoo @ Feb 12 2011, 01:24 AM) Sorry bro but what do you mean by cut version. You mean censored? I hope it got both longer and shorter version together just like Dance with Wolves (German Version). If you meant shorter version, then you're right. According to the review of the Criterion release at blu-ray.com: "The Last Emperor has been shown to audiences around the world in two different versions – a shorter version (164 min), also referred to as the Theatrical Cut, which is found on this Blu-ray disc, and a longer version (218 min), which was reconstructed for Italian TV." 164 mins not enough for you ah,taiko? |
