QUOTE(Andrewtst @ Mar 15 2011, 02:10 PM) When those region FREE BD player can drop the price? 1k++ is too expensive for me. If get, I need to get two units.. hmmmm.... I bought a Sony BD player (region B) from Harvey Norman Australia for AUD160 x 3.05 = RM488 to complement my existing region A player. So now, I can watch both region A & B discs Have been buying BD movies from AMZ US and UK without worrying about region issues This post has been edited by jimmy1234: Mar 16 2011, 12:16 PM

QUOTE(sKyWiR3pT3lTd @ Mar 15 2011, 10:32 PM) htkaki, Does Dune has limitations of switching in between Regions? It seems like many prefers Dune over Oppo shouldn't you put this question in dune thread instead of here?

QUOTE(sKyWiR3pT3lTd @ Mar 16 2011, 12:33 PM) You could have purchased Region free player (if they had it) instead of having two separate player for Region A & B They don't have branded region free players at that time. Not sure whether now available or not.

Can anyone share with me on the purchase of BDs from B&N? Bought 2 BDs and received an email that they have shipped on 25-Feb.
So far no news on the arrival and they did not also provide me with any tracking number. Similarly, bought a few BDs from Amazon a week after that and those parcel already arrived.
Wandering why it take so long for B&N. Have to admit that their shipment is somewhat cheaper than Amazon but that doesn't mean it will take significantly longer shipment period?

I pre-ordered Bambi and it was shipped on 1st March. Today is 16th March. I have not received my package yet. You have to be patient with B&N. Usually the shipment from B&N takes longer than Amazon does.

Hi, it is 1 of the best war movie ever made, rated same with SAVING PRIVATE RYAN. However, it is more dialog driven with lesser action (with only 2 major action which as good as saving private) with beautiful scene & green color. The Criterion Collection offer the demo material for Thin Red Line, a must to own for home theater., but would hv to agree is expensive. criterion collection always at above U$20.

I bought lots of criterion collection during sales. reason expensive -Criterion always restored & remastered the release by themselves. actually Thin Red Line was released by FOX, but Criterion bought the copyright. most of the Criterion is 1 disc , but they made full use of space & the extra is always new & exclusive. also feature booklet.
