Absolutely suitable for PC.
As for gaming, not sure if the sound stage is wide enough for gamers. I find it OK lah.

difficult lah to get this superlux headphone...
looking to buy 668b and 681, but none of the seller got stock....or response from the seller themselves not that encouraging...
....very frustrating..

668b been outta stock in malaysia for a very long time d. I am the only one in msia bringing in from another country for fellow superlux fans.

QUOTE(Shoot@M3 @ Feb 22 2011, 11:19 PM)
no stock usually unless u get from a shop name instraco or something
trio is doing bulk here, bulk means you have to wait
we all waited for our units from trio also last time smile.gif

Shipment for malaysia will be delayed till end of march. So I dont think anyone can get 668b till then till I bring in again from another supplier.

i have a doubt if you plan on using the superlux for gaming.. it kinda lack those kinda "boomy" bass which might not be as awesome if you like playing war games with lotsa "boom" and "pow"

on the PC .. it works just fine, after all majority of the forumer's main source is the PC since most of our music collection is obviously *ahem* and are stored in the HDD tongue.gif . also the superlux is a monitoring headphone, in other words; its meant for music.

That's unfortunate.. Though I'm not keen on bass. I'm more inclined towards crisp clear voices..
How does it perform when used for movie watching?

That's exactly what the Superlux 668B can give you: crisp clear voices.

For gaming, you might need very wide sound stage (depending on how fussy you are, and what type of games you're playing). Superlux is not too bad in this sense. It will serve you well.

well i only mentioned about the bass being not boomy enough for games.. but its just right for music also accompanied by crispy clear vocals and sparkly high range.
movies.. its kinda hard as well. if you dont mind the lack of boomy THX/DOLBY style explosion effects then it should be fine.

however i think the 681 might work for you.. ive not tested it on movies but its slighly bassier as compared to 668b
*edit* better availability and cheaper too XD

How does the 668B and 681 compare to the sennheiser HD202?
Coz that was my first choice until I "stumbled" into this thread, if the superluxes are better then there's no more reason to think on it considering the price.

superlux pwns in music.
hd202 is better in movies and games since it has more bass.
the choice is in the end up to you as which is the field youd be using your headphones more often
( but its hard to go wrong with the price superlux offers biggrin.gif)

Well, I'm more concerned with the sound stage issue iamyuanwu mentioned.
It's too late now, already ordered a 681 from Trio. wink.gif
Now to contemplate getting a sound card to go with it.

recently got my 681....first impression, the high is quite harsh...lot of hiss hiss...bass seem good enuff for my cheapo ears though...
any mod to address the high issues? in-line filter or some sort..
the mod shown in the link is quite advance for me.

Unless somebody here is providing that service here..
