I was at INSTRACO this afternoon and had a chance to test out few 'new' models that I have not checked. The most memorable and impressive was 662. The salesman also said the 661 which is the higher model (and more exoensive)was sold out. The last buyer even took the demo unit! tongue.gif There is a 3 months wait for the next supply circa Chinese New Year.. I may be getting the 662.. brows.gif

No match Bro. The 668B is rather 'flat' and 'dry' to my liking but the 662 was full bodied and the bass was amazing! thumbup.gif

If you googled, 622B is tweaked for more bass and 622F for more 'upfront' sound and 'natural' bass.. This is however somebody's perception.. best if you audition it yourself and decide. I know what I want! biggrin.gif

Equalization is there for a reason.
Don't feel guilty using it as not all music are recorded 'equal', so are the playback hardwares..
Above all your personal taste is unique.. as long as you're happy, equalized away! laugh.gif

Thats true but you won't be playing at full power, right?
So with everything else equal, for the same level of music, the volume control will be higher in range, thats all..

There were several units on demo at Instraco and I have tried them all.
Two models that I liked best, 681B(bought earlier long time ago) and 668B...

Was in Jalan Pasar this morning and passed in front of Instraco. Saw a good line up of Superlux headphones on demo.. I guess the stocks are in!
