socks when not done well.. the bass will be very muddy, do take in mind wink.gif
the ring size and the material affects the sound alot.. you can keep trying to tune the sound with the same socks tho. i tried 30 diff methods on a pair of socks personally

i have a doubt if you plan on using the superlux for gaming.. it kinda lack those kinda "boomy" bass which might not be as awesome if you like playing war games with lotsa "boom" and "pow"

on the PC .. it works just fine, after all majority of the forumer's main source is the PC since most of our music collection is obviously *ahem* and are stored in the HDD tongue.gif . also the superlux is a monitoring headphone, in other words; its meant for music.

That's unfortunate.. Though I'm not keen on bass. I'm more inclined towards crisp clear voices..
How does it perform when used for movie watching?
*
well i only mentioned about the bass being not boomy enough for games.. but its just right for music also accompanied by crispy clear vocals and sparkly high range.
movies.. its kinda hard as well. if you dont mind the lack of boomy THX/DOLBY style explosion effects then it should be fine.

however i think the 681 might work for you.. ive not tested it on movies but its slighly bassier as compared to 668b
*edit* better availability and cheaper too XD

superlux pwns in music.
hd202 is better in movies and games since it has more bass.
the choice is in the end up to you as which is the field youd be using your headphones more often
( but its hard to go wrong with the price superlux offers biggrin.gif)

wow radius DDM.. that one sounded pretty on par with ie8 if im not mistaken (only heard them for a few minutes and they're not burned in)

well..its not really hard to own a 668b because of its price tag but as for RE0.. i dont know :/ some reason i dont really like it eventhough im a detail lover (i felt the highs doesnt sustain long enough.. it disappears a little to quick) i ended up getting a shroom EB (which i find much more natural sounding) while waiting for ETY's ER4S to arrive laugh.gif

they need only Rm100 plus to make sth of 80 to 90 percent performance of DT770. I think if they double the cost to RM300, they willl be able to make something almost 95 percent performance of HDHD650, K701 etc.

hard to say.. cuz to me only 681 and 668 sounded good, and the other products are rather average, some i couldnt even bear listening a few seconds.
both the 681 and 668 are like miracle products i would say tongue.gif but i wouldnt go kick the big shots in the leg as i dont think the performance is that high as we all think it is. the difference in performance is actually rather big after a little analytical listening. (mainly electro and percussion tracks as there's alot of "hidden" details)
but heck if you need a RM100 and not wanting bloated sounding cans then superlux is the way

*edit* oh yea.. and the tests is mainly on details level and not sense of taste

give it about 100 hours... it should eliminate certain amount of hissings if you have this problem.. aside the headset becoming more responsive after 100 hours of break in period

just over-stretch it and the clamp should lose its clamping force (like a spring) but dont over do it as it might make it too lose... and i dont think you can bend it back that easily

but superlux is a full headset whereas ksc75 are clip ons.. its kinda hard to find ksc75 at bulk purchase price of rm80 on lowyat nowadays too...(wonder what happened)
yea.. good and smooth mids are the hardest to achieve.. very expensive too ><. i could never reach that range but im happy to be on the plain and tasteless side of music as that is my preference (yes you've guessed it im an ety fan)
in that sub 100 ringgit price i guess its hard to get an all in one-der. hence superlux has its bassy and treblish variant. tho heavy bass is easily achievable with ayam-itik brands which loses all the other details and sweet vocals are rather out of the question in this price. so bright sound lovers have the superlux here to depend on before moving forward in their journey. *just an opinion
tho hd681 is rather mid range dominant but bass and highs kurang umph sikit

prolly coz the ones at jaben are not burned in.. from my experience, beyers takes 150 or more hours to get it tamed. it'll sound really different too. like one of my friend.. his amp which supposedly able to drive the cans is no longer suffecient after burn in (600 ohm model)
