So out of your selling list, the 668b is the top-tier one?

Is the HD330 better than HD668b?
I'm rather confused by the numbering of the models and their price point. If I'm going to try a new headphone model, and especially in the budget end, I might as well go for the most expensive on offer. How come no HD330 list? |

I'm looking forward for a review of the HD330, and furthermore, a comparison between the HD330 and HD668b.
I hope that can spare me the dilemma of choosing between both. This post has been edited by tunertoobe: Jan 28 2011, 05:59 PM |

Yeah....
I see lots of my friends resort to headsets by them Logitechs and stuff. Seriously hollow sounding. And they can cost more than the Superlux. If I can show a Superlux to them, I'm sure they can never look at any other again for a budget headphone solution. This post has been edited by tunertoobe: Jan 30 2011, 06:07 PM |

QUOTE(TechMy @ Jan 30 2011, 06:24 PM) Hi, i am Samson. Soon to be superlux owner/supporter reporting in. Wow, all those at once. Never even heard or own any superlux model yet. But i know how could superlux sound, LOL Because... secret, the hint is within my post itself. Yeah, i am getting the Superlux hd330, hd660 and hd681 I wonder how the HD330 performs with a Hippo Box+ amp which I'll be getting soon. QUOTE(trio @ Jan 30 2011, 06:39 PM) hahah exactly. but too bad superlux price depsite its cheap but it is not so cheap till can consider 'affordable' to non audio enthusiastic Yeah but the model like the HD651, and the HD681 is cheaper than what they got for their headsets. I don't think I've ever seen them using the mic on them. I think if they know, they might regret buying the headsets in the first place. |

QUOTE(trio @ Jan 30 2011, 07:18 PM) http://www.headfonia.com/superlux-ha3d-amplifier/ Well that'll be a turn off.here u go. MOQ 10. lol how bout me? I think is their marketing method to squeeze more cash from users. Imagine they selling it in a set like 381 lool At least with the IEMs, I can always pick a favourite and sell off the others. |

I think you better have a solid Superlux foundation first. Maybe you can also become an official distributor for Malaysia!

QUOTE(Shoot@M3 @ Jan 30 2011, 09:40 PM) nice man, The review on it states that it can power 3 full sized cans......pretty amazing for an amp that uses only 2 AA batteries.thx for the siggies and also hitman using it now.. bro trio, u mean the headphone amp is going to be rm300+-? that headphone amp looks really nice, can power up to 3 some more but can handle > 32ohm same time? plus it got the mic xlr and midi also, so can just use this to do some recording too oh its like.. all in 1!!! |

QUOTE(iamyuanwu @ Jan 30 2011, 11:38 PM) That amp is made from steel (or is it aluminium?). It's built like a tank. I remember the old Xbox has a warning issued to the user. Something like, "falling of the unit can cause injury or death to infants".IIRC, when I bought my 668B in Instraco... the 681 series were plugged into the HA3D amp. Didn't manage to try it. But it does look pretty much indestructible. I think it will break a toe if dropped on someone's foot. LOL! Maybe the amp should have that. |

Here's the only thing I understand about impedance.
Higher impedance, require higher voltage but lower current, and has less volume. |
