I tried that in Sony KLCC too. That's just freaking awesome. But I think it's very hot to wear it for a long time. Put on a while can la. Macam putting pillow on two side of your ears.

Well, I'm very happy to get this kind of headphone with such as reasonable price.


After <40 hours of burn-in, I tried to listen "Tiesto Club Life - Volume One Las Vegas",(Overall bit rate: 1 022 Kbps,Format/Info: Free Lossless Audio Codec).

*To clarify, I'm not an audiofreak, so I know nothing much about music and audio.



The Design

1.) Luxury look, my friend can't even believe I brought it just RM1XX, they though it costs around RM500.
2.) Weight and size, this headphone is not made for portable, it's big size, you don't want wearing it walking around the public.
3.) Confort, I do not know why Superlux design in this way, the clamp was strong and tight, like 2 pieces of pillow pushing your head, is not very comfortable to wear it for hours. My girlfriend with has a small head complain just after wearing it few minutes. The earpads is soft but it create sweat instantly.


Sound

First thing I do is to hear the bass, maybe my expectation is high, I'm very disappointed with the quality and the quantity of the bass. By default setting of my PC and Galaxy S2, the bass and kicks is weak, I need to do some equalizer changing to increase the bass. After tried with Poweramp(Android apps), the bass kindly improve, it's acceptable but it's still incomparable to beats headphone.

The best part, mid and high, do not know how to describe, the sound is so clear and natural, you can hear every single detail of the music.
The sound is very 3D-like, well balance for movies.

*I use beats Solo HD as comparison.

As I can conclude, It is a great headphone with such price. The clamp should be looses after long hours of wearing. Basshead like me should stay away with this model, people who like mid and high, no doubt this is the right headphone for you.

At first, I'm a techno trance dubstep basshead. Before I was giving 4/10, but after my housemates tried, they reply "y no bass 1 ah ?, cannot increase the bass 1 meh ?"

Agree agree... My housemate also keep say my earphone all no bass one but I really think a bit overwhelm d he still say no bass. He went for Sonic Gear Earpump 2

Well, some, but mostly people think that Bass high = good. That's what makes beats so popular among people.

My house has 3 large speak, Edifier M3400(Mine), Edifier 530D, and Edifier M3300SF. You can imagine how noisy the bass is. That's the reason why I choose to get a headphone to enjoy my favorite music in room.

M3400 lowest power but it's actually enough to freak up whole house. I own one of that too but in my hometown. Btw, this not edifier thread la. Suddenly so many edifier speakers

It's like putting 2 woofer side of your ears.

I wish they have more comfortable pads. It's quite tiring after few hours wearing the cans.

Maybe DIY to replace the cans ?

the tips for tat technique is--------------- BUY A GOOD SPONGE!!

Sponge cut out nicely already..just that the socks I have I think the garter too tight..When put the sponge in it the sponge get's crushed out of shape

Now using just the plain sponge without socks..More comfy but outlooks wise....

i think after several days using the HD669, the bass getting better.. currently listening to Eminem - Lose Yourself.flac. sound quite good now..

Seeing all these reviews and pictures, I gotta hide my wallet somewhere.........why cant I just be happy with my 2 'luxes?
