QUOTE(JonSpark @ Jan 13 2012, 06:19 AM) I have HD440. Only about 30 hours in. It has improved since coming out of the box. But I feel the driver is still very stiff and tight. I think she needs more burn hours to open up better. I will try to give in 300-500 hours to get the best out of it.Once done, I'd be happy to put this up for demo in a gathering, or do a loan-swap since I am curious to try other models. Better still, if anyone is keen to contribute by giving a thorough review of HD440, I'd be happy to borrow it. I am also considering to mod it by adding sponge inside the earpads - hopefully can improve comfort wear. Did anyone try something like this before? Would be great to have a reference before i do it myself This post has been edited by ertai: Apr 4 2012, 09:57 PM |

QUOTE(dennisbklow @ Apr 5 2012, 03:21 PM) Hi guys, Recabling. It's unplugged so easier to source for new one. But my advise is, better to source for DAC or AMP rather than cables. I'm sure with the govibes, recabling can give some minor improvements. About the seller, I forgot who but will PM you later. |

QUOTE(lengchai86 @ Apr 8 2012, 05:37 PM) just cod HD669 with trio today at klang KTM. very nice seller To me, it took about 10 - 15 Hours before I could differentiate it between my cheap non branded headphones. how many hours normally you guys burnin this headset? Unfortunately, I could hear some crackling on the left side of the ear-piece after 15 hours and contacted trio for a replacement. It happened when it is connected to both my computer and ipod. According to Trio, he couldn't hear the crackling but proceeded to RMA the unit for me. I shall be receiving it this monday or tuesday, and hopefully everything would be sorted out by then. |
