Most of you would know that I usually say that AMEX CS is second to none, but since last month Maybank is really getting to my nerves. Mid last month redeem points for cash for my Gold Charge Card, and as of end of last month it was not credited and therefore I was imposed penalty RM50. Cash back for January have been fully distributed and late March a CS said will get management to award me point instead.
Up to early this week, my redemption for cash back, penalty waiver and additional points still not reflected in the system when I checked online. So called AMEX and the earlier CS that attended my matters was suppose to call me but failed. So today called up AMEX and gave the CS a piece of my mind (in a way not directed at her) and she promised to call me back by Monday next week.
Conclusion, AMEX level of customer service have definitely dropped and there should be a separate team to handle Charge Card members.
