I would like to ask, age is that of matter of applying AMEX Charge Card and Credit Card? My Profile currently 27 years old, Annual Income 6 figure (Average 18k/month), with good payment record from other bank. But got rejected from card application. Kindly advise

I don’t think age is a factor, I have friends below 30 holding the charge card

Try to call and request for rejection reason, they may disclose to you.

From there, you can submit your appeal

SEBCares (Sarawak Energy) accepts Amex but no CB for Utilities (Electricity).
TNB App shows "Invalid Card Number" for Amex card number.

Hi all,

Few days ago this week I submitted my application (via email) for one of Amex charge cards.

Since this is my 1st time applying this charge card, I wonder how long will it take to know the application result?

Maybe someone can share their experience applying this charge card?

I just cancelled my amex platinum charge
Not worth it anymore
Only max 300k-350k rewards points given upon renewal
350k means only 50000 miles (7000 rewards = 1000 miles)
50000 miles x 0.04 = rm2000

Annual fee rm3250

Which i dont think worth anymore

No, its not same. It definitely worth to offset the AF with MR, than pay AF get additional MR

Plus, the MR that used to offset the AF, will not cost you more than RM100
