i registered Maybankard 2 Amex Credit Card last friday during the AMEX rewards night in Hotel Shangri-La KL jln sultan ismail. I forgot to get the person contact number. As she promise will call me today to get my billing address. At the end she not call me yet.

Beside I did not aware either she did cross the photocopied of my IC. What should I do? I worrying they will use my IC to do others stuff. Would they dare to do so?.

A bit too late to ask right? Next time get the agent's card or store his/her number in your handphone immediately.Anyway, you worry too much because even if your IC is crossed, it can be easily photoshop.

finally my 15% cashback has been credited, after almost 40+ of exchanging mails since feb

I request to be granted extra 10k MR as compensation n they gave it

mine, the CS told me last month settled and will be credited into my Charge Card Acct. Up to today, nothing

have u tried mailing bnm yet? it worked for me, solved within 10 days

just wait for it..no point to worry about it also..

Mine not settled either after more than a month. Latest news is approver is on leave and will only get in next month's statement.. :S

From my experience dealing with Amex, it normally takes months to resolve the disputes. For the 10x MR for grocery and petrol promotion last year, it took more than 5 months for Amex to deposit the MR points in full to my account, after numerous complaints, calls and follow up with the CS officers.

As for the 15% cash back promotion, Amex neglected my emails and call queries. In the end I wrote to BNM and the cash back was deposited to my account instantly within 2 weeks.

We always try to be good, polite and patient to the CS staff. But to certain CS officers in MBB and Amex, you don't need to be so "patient" or else they won't take your enquiries and complaints seriously.

i agree wif u, several calls were made during the 15% cashback promo, i spoke politely why my december in already, but january still missing; they say will check lah, did u receive the sms confirmation or not lah (hell, if i got my december already, that means im registered already right???), need approval from higher ups lah.

3 calls & 2 months later still no end in sight, then i wrote them a 'nice' email, without copying to BNM or anything. their their VP send me a registered mail saying sorry & cashback credited soon after.

Just now went to Starbucks, Bukit Indah in JB. Before commencing my order, i asked for the validity of the free beverage for Amex card. And the guy said yes, it is valid nationwide and i gotten myself a free cup of Mocha Frap

It's always best to ask the cashier... if the cashier says NO or doesn't know about it, escalate to the Store Manager (or Asst Store Manager).

if u have linked ur cc to maybank2u, can login to m2u & click accounts & banking & then reward points. if u havent, i believed u can request for e-statement to be send to ur email address & from there also can check.

is already written nationwide long time ago..so AMEX card holder when buying starbucks make sure ask for the free coffee

Anyone saw the new AMEX advertisement saying that you can used your Membership Rewards points to change for FB game points like Farmville, Cityville kind of games... not sure that apply to Malaysia or not.

This nov my Amex charge card going to start charging me RM 238 annual fee. It was free for the past 3 years. Anyone here ever requested to waived this charges?

No harm in trying to ask the Maybank AMEX CS to waive it. And do report back your result.

Not sure when is the right time to ask. Still got few months to go. If ask now, should they say ok to waive, how do I know they'll stick to their words? Will they send a confirmation letter?

Amex gold charge card AF is easy to waived if the card is active in usage.
The one that difficult and almost impossible to waive AF are the Amex platinum charge card.
