^^^ i haf the same problem with the FN too at times..

Oh... let's try to identify it then. Since your list says you're using stock ROM 1.84, mine is 1.34, so probably a software update won't solve it. Do you remember what apps you're using when the FN key stops functioning? And your on-screen keyboard, which one are you using (QWERTY, X9 keypad, ABC keypad) ?

Those are quite personal preference. You might want to compare from user uploaded youtube clips. Compare with other phones you think might be the upper tier (Iphone, Desire HD). Camera is pretty normal to me, but I like having a dedicated physical button for it. On weekdays when I'm working I use the phone on full (ebuddy, gtalk, whatsapp, phone calls, sms, news, internet, 3.5G network) with as little syncing as possible but it'll drop to 25% by 3-4pm. During weekend I don't use the internet and ebuddy running on Edge it can last 2 days easily with 30-40% left.

Thread so quiet for days already =/

Anyways.. anyone having trouble using the 'FN' key on the QWERTY board? Sometimes the FN doesn't work... have to press on menu, close it then only it works... Funny

Yup, happens on mine too every now and then. It's quite weird.

Only happens on Handscent so far tho. Never happened on anything else.

Official gingerbread aside, CM7.0.0 final just got released! (actually this morning but was too busy to post).

Met a classmate who uses the OG Desire and flashed a 2.3.3 rom. The FPS is totally higher. Scrolling the app drawer is so much smoother! This weekend when I get back to my house I'll do the obligatory CM7 install. Can't wait!

any way to make the phone notify, either by sound or vibration, when using the physical keyboard?.......the keys are not very responsive, and often cannot tell if the key had been pressed adequately, many missed letters..........

May i ask where did you buy your DZ at RM1600 + 8GB micro SD? thats the best price i heard so far. The cheapest i found was at RM1680 + 2GB.
*
i realised the 8gb microsd comes default preinstalled with a fair bit of software, about 2gb worth........

@limeuu, dun think something like that exists. One thing is keyboards are not common on all android so development in that respect is a bit lacking i guess.

the htcsync software is not very good, and presumes one has outlook to backup up contacts and calender. Is there a good free software that will back up all content in the phone to the pc without need to have softwares like outlook?
