Well I have M2U online for my Amex Amex Gold CC and cannot view my MBB Petronas and MC account. I did call up CS once and was told need to go to branch and ask them to link it. Have not done so yet.

Actually if you provide them your ATM card number, they might can link for you directly.
Just because I loss my ATM card, so need re-apply the ATM Card and create new pin for M2U.
but the Melaka Branch cannot link my MBB2 Amex with M2U,
finally they call to cs and ask cs link for me....cs said need to wait around 2 weeks..

Sorry as i'm new to the Credit Card world. Just a question, are there actually ANY SIGNIFICANT difference between Master & Visa cards? Because i've been checking around and i don't really see any SIGNIFICANT differences now. Back in the older times they said that certain places only accept certain types of cards. What about now?

And is anyone in here using CIMB Petronas MasterCard? Any feedbacks regards to this card?

nowadays in malaysia, almost all place that accept visa can accept mastercard too. so yes, no significant diff.

the diff usually on their promo, example mastercard got promo with giant.

cimb petronas mastercard only good if u pump with petronas (2% rebate) and for others, 0.5% rebate.

if u earned rm3k/month then better go with ocbc titanium mastercard, 5% rebate at all petrol, 1% for others.

another card is maybankard 2 amex, which give 5x points everywhere and extra 5% rebate on weekend.
but this card (amex) acceptance at petronas is very2 low

Yes, auto-linked already in my M2u. I'm existing MBB CC holder and applied through phone (without submit docs). Still not yet receive the CC via parcel. MBB use PosLaju/ABX/Nationwide/etc. ?

how come you not yet receive MBB2 Amex but already auto-linked and can view on M2U?

Mine received MBB2 Amex by posLaju since 2nd Feb until now still cannot view by M2U....

No idea, it was auto-linked, that's how I guess it is approved. Hopefully today/tomorrow can receive the card.

under which part of Maybank2U, can i determine if the card has already been 'auto-linked'?

I went to maybank earlier. They told me, there will be 1.18] interest on my minthly usage. does it mean, if I spend rm200, I will pay rm200x1.16=226. Wow.. Extra 26 monthly..
