Hi, I need some advice on Obaku Harmony watches. I would like to know if this is a reputable brand, as I couldn't find much information about it.
*
Did some searches and it looks like a sub brand of Ingersoll?
Don't really know much about them except that they're chinese made with chinese movements...
Anyone can confirm?

232.30.42.21.01.001

Just need some quick info/guidance.
Is it hard to find it at klang valley area? Price over 20K?
Haven't do any study/reasearch/price check on these Omega Seamaster yet.....

That looks like the new PO? Not surprised if it is in the 20k region.
Not sure if it's in stores yet or not - do call up the AD to find out.

Once the shops stock it, I don't think it'll be hard to get your hands on one...

The first model number you listed is the Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean Liquidmetal.
The material for the bezel is called Liquidmetal.
TheSeamaster writing on the dial will be in RED.
That is a limited edition one.
Above 20k? Surely.
It uses an older co-axial caliber 2500 movement.
Same as the Seamaster 2220.80

The 2nd model number and the picture is the latest Planet Ocean.
The bezel for this one is Ceramic.
It houses a newer co-axial caliber 8500.
Should be releasing in Malaysia soon... or available now? I dunno.
Not limited edition.
Should be around 17-19k range.

Last I checked, some of the dealers are offering 10% off. Not sure about Omega boutiques but I doubt the discount will be higher than ADs.

I understand that discounts in the US are steeper, up to 20-25% off if not mistaken.

The price keep increasing each year for no reason. Discount given by AD makes a difference......

Guess is better to save up more and get asap.

I think its known as inflation haha... at an estimated 6% per year for Msia... your watch collection need to increase in value significantly before you actually see any returns..

Boutique will give you low discount, but you get to try on the entire range of watches there.

AD will tell you that their prices/discounts are controlled by Omega, but if you talk nicely to them, they might be willing to give you a bit more laa brows.gif

Anyway, don't be too fixated on the discount %. Be mindful of the actual final price also.
Last time when I was getting my Bond, boutique was lower discount but lower retail price. Hourglass gave higher discount but higher retail price also.
At the end of the day, final selling price about the same for both.

I got basically >20% for my Seamaster Pro but it was like nearly 2 years ago and the RRP was around 11+++ and i got it for 8k. I believe only a selected few will give discount this much as the shop i bought from kept telling me not to reveal out their name lol.

By the way, my watch is pretty much scratched all over. -.- anyone know where can i send for good polishing ?

Wow... More than 20%? That's a steal.... I am hard pressed to find more than 12% nowadays... I believe 10% is more realistic in my area...
