I would go for Laco just for the sake that it is the Original 5.

I wouldn't go for Laco if it is using Miyota movement.

i considered the Laco and the Stowa, both are great, but price wise the Steinhart invokes the greater happiness, where it looks very good like deriku said, and i spend less? hehehehe. brows.gif
6497 is a reliable work horse. some ppl didn't like it cause its lower beat.
PAM did get soprod to mod it a long time back.

besides steinhart there are more brands that offer lower price pts.

I love my Blue Mako tongue.gif

Seiko 5's are probably the match for match, though I do not like Seiko's enough to recommend you a model. I so far do not recall any shops carrying Mako, at least not those I actively have the chance to check out. I got my online, then having a friend who was coming back from US bring it back.

I do not own a camera, so here a current pic I just took with my gf's hp so apologies for the poor quality smile.gif

Can't really remember exact pricing to be honest, somewhere around RM250-RM350 because I purchased it off the Orient USA website that always welcomes coupons and such. I also saved a bit on shipping as my friend was helping me to carry it back. And well, it looks like she'll be back somewhere around January, so perhaps she might be able to help you if you do want it, no guarantees though smile.gif

Some chrono watches does not reset back to Zero for the stopwatch starting position after quite some time.

I know that swatch chronos can be adjusted by the user. Can other chronos from seiko, citizen etc be resetted aswell?

Anyone can recommend local shop and online site for reliable watch clasp buckle for watch. How about Hirsch brand!
