i  dont think he will feature at all this season.
he's not registered to first-team.

I think he can play..
check out tis new squad rules

- Clubs register a squad of up to 25 players, which must include at least eight 'home-grown' players, at the end of each transfer window.
- Home-grown players do not have to be English; home-grown players are defined as those who "irrespective of nationality or age, have been affiliated to the FA or Welsh FA for a period of three seasons or 36 months prior to 21st birthday"
- Clubs can supplement squad with unlimited number of players under the age of 21.
- Changes can be made only during transfer windows, although in exceptional circumstances (eg goalkeeping injury crisis) moves could be allowed.
- Players loaned to Football League clubs cannot be replaced, but can regain their spot on return to parent club.
- Rules apply only to Premier League matches, not European, FA Cup or League Cup action.

look at the squad list. he doesnt even have a first team number. which is needed for a place in first team.
dont get me wrong, i'd love to see him playing for first team, but first i think he might need to hit the gym. EPL players always need good physical.

Suarez lines up Anfield move after telling Ajax he wants to join Reds
By Rory Smith
Tuesday January 18 2011

Liverpool target Luis Suarez is believed to have made it clear to Ajax that he would be prepared to leave the Dutch club for Anfield should a suitable offer arrive in the remaining two weeks of the January transfer window.

The Eredivisie side's new boss, Frank de Boer, has stripped the Uruguayan international of the club captaincy after a number of controversial incidents and is thought to be resigned to losing the striker in the coming weeks.

Liverpool have emerged as favourites to secure Suarez's services after Tottenham chose not to further their interest in the 23-year-old, who will only contemplate a move to England should he be able to join a club with a core of Spanish-speaking players.

Though Ajax are prepared to listen to offers substantially below the £35m valuation they placed on the striker after an impressive World Cup, the Dutch club will not countenance selling the player for less than £18m.

Whether Liverpool match that fee will depend on whether the club's owners, Fenway Sports Group, believe Suarez's age, potential and marketing power make him a worthwhile investment.

Manager Kenny Dalglish and director of football strategy Damien Comolli will doubtless attempt to convince the group's principal backers -- John W Henry and Tom Werner -- of that in the coming days.

Dalglish and Comolli have also scouted Wigan winger Charles N'Zogbia intensively in recent weeks, and the Frenchman may prove a cheaper alternative to another long-term target, Aston Villa's Ashley Young.

The England international would cost around £15m should Villa choose to release him, roughly twice what N'Zogbia may cost.

Another Villa player, left-back Stephen Warnock, is also being monitored. Dalglish may look to bring the 29-year-old back to the club he left in 2007 on an initial loan until the end of the season.

I'd take N'Zogbia over Young any day if given the choice..Young has stagnated at Villa hasnt he? was a world-beater once, probably the managerial change had a detrimental effect on him?

I think that would only be in effect if he plays in the Dutch league

And play the whole 90 mins.

When KD made substituition time, everyone taught it would be him to be substituted, who know it was Miereles.

Amazing skills from Suso. First time watching him play. I gotta say he's a little like Messi, ball is stuck to his feet. Great control of the ball, has good vision. He'll make a good winger or AM. Eagerly awaiting for his debut. This are the type of players we need in Liverpool.
*
his distribution and vision look good. also his passing look neat. promoting him to the 1st team would be a good idea. just like when Arsene Wenger promoted Fabregas into the fisrt team which proven to be a good decision.

QUOTE(boxsystem @ Jan 18 2011, 01:18 PM)
Yup, that Fernando Suso is talented alright. I have watched a couple vids of him. Maybe need to bulk up a bit if he's going to play in BPL. You know, to fend off those physical challenges.
*
Suso might need to adjust with the harsh treatment from the EPL defenders.

The only reason to go for N'Zogbia is the fee. tongue.gif

I wouldn't thinks so, the 1st thing RB did was telling Torres to beef up physically to handle the rough & tumble of BPL.
Even Alonso improves physically compare to when he first arrived.
The worry is, with such slight frame, he'll be shoved of easily by the defenders, prone to injury or even loss of confidence.

Actually think Spearing should be the one taken out as we're chasing the game & from what I saw, he offered next to nothing in the final third.
I'm not slighting him but don't he be better equipped as water carrier role aka Deschamps role? As I noticed he played much higher than Lucas & Meireles. Maybe KD wish him to close down opponents deep in their own half but really, he's limited attacking wise.

what RB tell torres was true..the physique will make a huge advantage if u are a striker!.. ..suso is more of a fabregas+iniesta mould..not a finisher but more of a creator nod.gif

if u saw the video compilation of him..he's not that easy to shove off the ball from bigger, taller opponents..u can see how gud he creates space for himself..think thats the quality that makes fabregas & other small frame player successful in EPL nod.gif

why is our LUCK so bad lately?

simple, we dun hav a number 7

our last wearer of number 7 is Kewell or Smicier, if i am not mistaken

so if we buy Suarez, let him wear number 7 and we will drift back to number 7 by March

fyi, KD is also a number 7 wearer too

7 is a mystical lucky number

Maxi is ok actually, he moves from left wing to the 'hole' position to assist in attacks and he's always in the penalty box to try score goals. If we were to replace, I'd say Dirk Kyut. He has the stamina of a horse but even with that, his performance has been lacking. The only reason Liverpool put Kyut at RW is to help defend the RB position. We need some new faces and new attacking options. Joe Cole has been a MAJOR let down this season. I was all hype-d up about him and thought he'd be raining crosses and passing for Torres but dammit we really need someone at RW!

We should buy a LB and Johnson can fill the RW whereby Kelly can play RB

was at royal oak for the viewing of the match, but was kinda disappointed with the crowd. thought there will be more reds around. anyways apart from that, the match against everton, to be honest, very disappointed with how the 2nd half went for us, i thought we got a little complacent and went for safety instead of killing the game off.. many of u say there are progress but in my eyes, its only because we were at home.. still lacking a slight cutting edge upfront when it comes to the final ball. welcoming news about suarez and downing tho if i had to choose, i'd rather have downing first and then suarez in the summer.
