thks 4 the link, found this:

"The performance of the 540M lies between the Radeon HD 5650 and 5730 in our first benchmarks. Therefore, the 540M is about 10% faster than the GT435M using DDR3 graphics memory. Using GDDR5 it may be as fast as the HD 5750 / 5770.

Paired with a fast CPU, demanding games of 2010 should run fluently in medium to high details and SXGA resolution. In our tests for example Call of Duty: Black Ops and StarCraft 2 ran fluently in high details and 1360x768. More gaming benchmarks can be found in the lower section of this page."

Yes, it's DDR3.

Most Radeon 5650/6550 are using DDR3 too.
I think HP's is the exceptional.

we know exactly what you asking lar...

If you're really have doubts, just ask any 5750G user to post up their GPU-Z image for you to clarify... Don't think there's a GDDR5 variant for 540M either..

Why dont you post a video of it on youtube. No one has done it yet. I am torn between this and the Dell xps 15.

well.. If it doesn't have a subwoofer, then all laptops are pretty similar... XPS15 has better speakers becoz of subwoofers...
