btw i just install the aura sygic the GPS navi tools. i personally quite impressive with the direction and the voice command..

eyy.. do i need to activate these GPS.. because upon execution of aura.. it prompt me to activate the products and its end next week.. what if i dont activate it? can i still use after the activation period?

btw.. i really envy u guys hv much time to flash to a new version of darky.. mine 1 just recover from the bricking session last week. .so i want to rest for a while..anyhow i also feels itchy to try new darky v9.0.

Thanks all sifu. I successfully flash to Darky 9.0.2 rom already. All my app and data is wipe off. Now is restore using Titatium Backup. Let see how Darky rom work!! Hope it make my phone smooth and save battery life!

Is it when u select your wallpaper , a yellow semi transparent box came out and it covers just a part of the wallpaper? U can simply just drag and make the box bigger until it fits the size that u want. XD

u mean when u are fitting the size it suddenly zoom become bigger then u cannot zoom out already? i also encounter this problem but after a few tires i can manage to fit 100% size like the original size lol.. looking for the solution as well..

yeah correct..i cut fit2 liao..then after that when apply wallpaper bcome big like we zoom but the fact im not zoom..

haha.. me also personally become slow after my tragedy. been isolated for two days without phone. damn scary. now i still use v8 with the updated speedmod and enjoying the apps and the rom. might be flash straight to v10 if it available near future.

Hi sifus, Im planning to get SGS soon, but still haven decided to go for AP or Ori set.
I hav some doubts, hopefully sifus can help me explain it further~

1. Is there any tools tat can backup/restore b the stock ROM ? So, if i plan to flash a custom ROM, i shuld go for AP instead of Ori ?
2. Install a custom ROM means the phone is consider rooted ?

never go for an AP, it save you the trouble of waiting for 2 months and still havent get your phone fix.

go for ORI you will get expert mechanics of SGS to work on your rm2000 phone and get original spare part.

1. you could always revert back to stock/original firmware, samsung will never know you flash custom ROM
2. depends on the ROM, some rom is not come pre-rooted, some does, rooting is easy, got one click app.

i can say, maybe some part will rosak like the volume and power button if not hati-hati. then, if you salah bend the gps coil, it will patah and have to send it for a repair(itu pun if the center can do it la.). last but not least, your phone will kong and cannot claim warranty cause you modify the hardware of the phone. so still thinking lagi right now whether to do it or not.

err mine is ap set so far no problem nothing..but i guess its your luck if you choose to get ap set

1. Yes, there's lot of backup apps for Android (not only SGS) such as Titanium backup. It doesn't matter if u flash to AP set or Ori set. Both will be same. The different is the only warranty..
