I'm still getting error code in recovery

Is it because of the Rom Manager?

In the recovery, (volume up + home + power button) then i choose apply sdcard:update.zip

Got this error code:

E:failed to verify whole-file signature
E:singature verification failed

Installation aborted
Fyi, I can see "Android system recovery <3e> "
at the top

Is that the problem??

Tried z4root still at 3e.

How do i return to 2e when I can't install anything in recovery?

Does not work for DXJPE and DXJPY. Maybe the app is now updated; it wasn't ready when I needed it.

Root does not affect recovery 2e or 3e. It's within the kernel itself.

You can try for few days with rfs. If you feel laggy, you can try apply ext4 if necessary. I dont feel any batt drainage on ext4

Maybe you can try other launcher and see if this is only TW gtg-5 docks issue. You can always restore your back-up TW launcher using SGS Tools>apply script

it happened to me twice. after latest update, its happening again. damn.
very annoyin. i tried reinstall, clear cache, clear dalvik and stuf.. my fren still can reciv my msg if she does not on her whatsapp. (normally, they will be push notofication). She is using iphone 3gs

edit. thelast time, i manage to fix it by flasing darky 7.x to darky 8.0. just wondering is there any way to fix this without having to flash again.

Hi. Unfortunately, there is no way one can tell the lifetime of the phone in android. Only thing u can check is the manufacturing date of the cellphone. Regarding to the warranty, it only started when samsung received your warranty card, either through physical card or samsung online registration. Just to be safe, send both and call their hotline customer service for confirmation of your registration. U will also received the e-warranty, which is basically a text message confirming that u have registered the product. Can be used for rma purpose (just show them the sms, no need to bring warranty card.) Hope this helps!

The best battery life I've experienced so far, with the phone. With my usual usage, the phone would be down to 50% by 2-3pm but today, it was 75% at 3pm, and now it's 45% at 8:30pm.

Note : Phone left the charger at 8am.

hi everyone...new sgs owner here..  

use v8.0 for some time...
is nice so far...batt usage ok...
not as draining lar (for me)
at least normal usage can last 2 days...(minor call,sms,wifi + 3G data sometimes,slight gaming)

google's gingerbread already out .... u hav to wait for samsung's gingerbread  or XDA's dev gingerbread

actually if i just install speedmod kernel without doing any tweaks or lagfix, the performance just the same as normal stock kernel? another question is is it possible to flash another modem in the dxjpe rom?
