I've put a spoiler on the 2nd fan of the heatsink so that some air is directed to the VRM below and voila i've got 122GFlops on 4.5GHz.Looks like it really did overheat. Thanks for your help.

Glad to hear that. Always put active cooling on PWM area when stressing.
Good luck!

Strange still quite new to this OC offset mode as I wanna my SB temp to be low while idle.

CPU = i5, 2500K, P67 Sabertooth

OC by using turbo per core

1 Active core multi = 43(4.3GHz)
2 Active cores multi = 41
3 Active cores multi = 39
4 Active cores multi = 38

everything else Auto,
Internal PLL = Disabled since I low OC only.
Vcore phase control = Optimized
LLC = Regular <-- if I set medium I cannot boot window at all.

CPU Vcore = Offset (-0.015) because while on load I get higher vcore than stock even in 3.8GHz. So it is logical to set offset -negative. But Using offset voltage seems got both side effect, if u go positive or neutral = u get much HIGH vcore on LOAD which is not necessary, then if u go -negative offset the idle voltage go simply too low,

once I set -0.025 b4, my idle vcore go below like 0.888 @ CPU-Z *I was able to play games for whole day, but during my working time which my cpu idle, it crash. So the problem is still the idle side voltage, but if I set neutral/positive offset my vcore during load when much higher than what is needed than manual. Any idea to tighten the auto voltage range? higher on idle, lower on load?

Anyone here got good example of setting for offset OCing?

bro why you dont play with turbo voltage.. 0.888v seem too low on idle..
it can be found in CPU Power Management option
here mine with turbo voltage set manually

The problem is turbo only affect Load voltage, not the idle voltage, the problem I am having now is not enough idle voltage to keep it stable if I want my load cpu voltage stay @ near stock voltage.

on ur case it is of cause u can remain positive offset as the 4.8GHz require more than the offset give. This doesnt really affect anything on idle.

I don't think 80'c is a good temperature. But given that high vcore it would reach that temperature.

Perhaps it will need a better cooling solution.

Custom water cooling. Personally I dont recommend all-in-one water-cooling kits like Corsair H100, H70 and etc.

Custom water cooling is so modular, you can upgrade any part and even expand it chill your graphic card and other hardware.
