I got the same issue with my old MIVE B2 last time.
I couldn't change the BCLK some ppl told me that IME part of the BIOS chip is corrupted.

guys OCing an i7 2600k on a MSI Z68MA-ED55 mainboard, cooling it with a H50 dual fan push-pull setup

pushing it at 4.2MHz and the CPU temperature went up to 74-81c at full load. is that normal? stressing it wit prime95 for about 5min and couldn't bare to continue looking at the temperature, had to stop it right away.

some advice on cooling or maybe a better oc settings? mainly use for rendering

my current speed is at 4.5Ghz at 1.29V now, and it is stable with IBT and Linx test..
last time i am able to stable it at 1.25V with Linx, but i try to download IBT and  try to stress with it.
it become un-stable and need to change the vcore to 1.29v

im also using air-cooling coolermaster v6gt heatsink
but i dont know what problem is this, using Linx my voltage 1.25v is stable, but when im using IBT it's not stable and need to increase voltage..

can i disable the option tat protect my cpu overheat ? btw i already tried 5GHz 1.47v for 3 days, play crysis 2, music, internet all of my daily usage, highest temp around 75c, no freeze bsod, is it can be judge a stable oc ?

Intel default CPU PLL is 1.8v which is a lil bit high. As long as it's higher than vCore u're u good to go, but depends on chip too.
Some chips really need extra CPU PLL to stable at higher clock.
I set it down to 1.7v to shave off my temps lower.

Got a question about LLC: do you guys set it to High, UltraHigh or Extreme?

Hmmmm... looks like from your table that setting LLC to UltraHigh will cancel out the vdroop so that vcore cpuz = bios. Will use that setting then.

not really though. my experience is when i put vcore 1.305 (bios) with LLC high: on prime95 cpu-z shows vcore 1.280 fluctuating 1.296. However when i put LLC ultrahigh with same vcore the cpu-z vcore will be more stable around 1.3.

Also, on LLC high prime 95 will snap after less than 1 hour. On LLC ultrahigh prime 95 can hold for 3 hours plus.
