VTT hmm.. only increase in lousy board... biggrin.gif

Actually many factors eg. ram speed, chip & timings etc..

There's no conclusive answer to this. Some chips can do more than 5ghz and some can't but literally 4.7ghz should be easy for a 2500k if you know what you're doing smile.gif

some chips are facing hard time even to stable at 4.8ghz. My case, 1.45v also not so stable. and sommore the temps are high even on mid range water kit. but its still cant compare to heat generated by older generation bloomfield at same clock. laugh.gif

@lichyetan

i see.. i just bought the pc last week..
doesn't really know what to do with till i read about OCs at this thread..
OC is very addictive! just installed noctua d-14 last nite..
right now still i'm playing around with the CPU..
can't wait see how far it can go..

still doesn't really understand how OC in ram works.. what is the main target to achieve in OC ram?

Main target if you overclock your RAM is basically wasting more time, getting a better benchmark score and satisfaction.

degradation in terms of speed or voltage?
some said it's due to BIOS when they're losing 100-200MHz after BIOS flashing.
waiting for MIVE-Z keke brows.gif

well dont think there will be a difference
the degradation hmm dont think its bios related
think its board and ppl dont test hard enough

first round 2133 C7 no skew adjustment
second round cpu skew
third round cpu skew with dmi

got a b3 back to first round

Increase vCore notch by notch until no BSOD, that's the "safe" point. smile.gif
btw, ur RAM wasn't stressed enough that's just roughly 20% of total amount of 4GB,
pls click on "All" box to the right of Memory option.
