The Asrock is a good value for money buy smile.gif I've tried using it before (P67) and moving to Maximus IV is literally giving me the same result of overclocking because I'm not so extreme. If you intend to do 4.5-4.7 without tweaking RAM settings etc then this is the board to get. Some folks with a good CPU can also manage to get more than 5Ghz with Asrock boards.

However if you want cosmetics then maybe the design/color might not be so attractive compared to Asus boards biggrin.gif

good info bro...thanks a lot... flex.gif

try this it might work for u ,

load line calibration = 100%
vrm fixed frequency mode = 400khz
digi + vrm phase control = extreme
digi + vrm pwm mode = extreme
vcore = 1.415
CPU PLL = 1.8

this is a few setting u need to set , u cant let all the setting to auto .

Try running linX longer and see got any error plus do you really need it overclocked all the time because if you are just surfing the net just use the stock settings much stable and your hardware is not always stress up.You can save in your bios a few clock settings.So you can save a few of your OC settings and stock settings so if you want to use it just load it.Your temp is considered ok if you are using stock cooler or maybe entry level air cooler.But is fun OC'ing but just do it safe.Hehe biggrin.gif

btw ure linx test will fail easily

thats silly for 4.7-4.8 this is the best
load line calibration = 75%(m4e)(ultra high for rest of asus)
vrm fixed frequency mode = Auto
digi + vrm phase control = tprobe
digi + vrm pwm mode = 100%
vcore = 1.4-1.42
CPU PLL = 1.525
cpu spread spectrum = enabled.
