That's not bad but my Hyper 212+ with 2 x F12 push/pull is no where near 80C when I was doing 4.8Ghz with my previous i5 chip smile.gif
*
my previous setup, stacking two 120mm radiator actually lower the temp by 10c +/- 3c compare to Hyper212+.

and my proc got some issue with core temp, core 3 always higer thn other core by 5c. and i take the highest core temp.

I just did a quick Prime Blend run and aircond remote is 24C/medium fan and it's on the other corner of the room, not blowing directly to my PC which is under the table. Temps are lingering around 60C's and I'm only using a Feser 360 with 3 x F12's. I also have a GTX 570 together with the loop smile.gif The Gentle Typhoon won't do any better, maybe 1C or less (at least not noticeable in my tests) laugh.gif Sorry if some of the apps are outdated, haven't been updating myself of late. If I do a Small FFT, temps will go up a little bit more but it will never exceed 70C. 32nm on a WC setup with 80C+ load is a sad thing, haha. It needs a better radiator and like I said, those Black Ice GT are some of the worst rads around.

Haha, I'm sure his would be better biggrin.gif Nowadays I just leave everything stranded, don't even have the chance to really meddle with the PC. Come home, play PC, sleep, go to work again the next day. Life is boring laugh.gif

lol... my hyper212+ never exceed 80c thn if in air cond laugh.gif

i used both GTS 240 before tht on my tiny a05n ( no other radiator would fit on bottom of case sad.gif ) compare to stacked 120mm AirPlex XT on front of a05n, temp are almost identical. Now using Hyper212+, temp losing 10c compare to water. smile.gif

conclusion, water always better than air if you go for custom kit. just that thick radiator is for another level compare to thin radiator. depends on build i think. dont think feser can fit in a05n all internal. even if can fit, but really cramped... laugh.gif

The Feser surely won't fit but I've just ordered a PC-A05N biggrin.gif I plan to have a MCR-320 on top and MCR-220 at the bottom. HDD bays would be removed. I think the issue here is if a custom WC kit running at 80C then something is really wrong somewhere as temps should be better. As long as we have reasonable fans then we're good, the RM60-70 fan won't make any wonders and even if it does, the difference are somewhat minimal.

I'm just trying to help, no harm done and sorry if I said anything wrong biggrin.gif

Edit: I also forget to mention that I'm using a CRAP Aqua Kryos XT Delrin block laugh.gif It's not even an Apogee XT or anything of that sort.

erm, MCR220QP at bottom will really tight bro... I tested it before. you need to extend the PSU out. And require moddings for the PSU cable to fit as well. We can discuss in PM since its going out of topics if u interested on A05N modding laugh.gif

I hitting 80c also with water when weather is very hot. and with crazy vcore like 1.45v++ @4.8ghz and above in a cramped case. Guess sometimes its related to proc also sad.gif . cause the radiator is warm to touch.

but with AVX la, with older prime... never exceed 70c. laugh.gif

The more expensive Kryos is on par but the one I'm using is the cheapest, should be on the level of Supreme LT biggrin.gif

I initially wanted the TJ-07 but looking at the amount of money I had to spend on the casing and amount of time I can meddle with it, I thought it's a better option to go for cheaper cases. I stumbled upon this cute little Lian Li and I want to give it a shot biggrin.gif

Actually you have any suggestions for an inverted ATX case? I was looking around for some good mid towers but can't seem to find it sad.gif
Btw, are there any new Sandy Bridge processors coming soon like 2700K or some sort? It seems that everything now comes to a halt again laugh.gif
