saturday got dengi spray at my area forgot to close my tank... all my rcs went to heaven that nite... tried to do water change also cant save them...

PL Light 36W on for 8 hours a day, 6 months old.
Water change is once a week with 80% of water change.
Tank is 1.5feet. Water volume about 45liter.
CO2 is 1bbs on for 7.5 hours with control of solenoid. Using cylinder CO2 tank.
12 Cardnial, 2 pink zebra, 2 guppy, 3 otto, 2 flying fox and 3 Yamato. Thinking of add in another 2 Otto.

Started add in fertilizer about 1 month ago. Bought from World Aquatic during 2010 aqua fair held in KLCC. About 5ml a week.

I am using HOB filter and change the sponge every week. Put in PSB(photosynthesis bacteria) from OTTO after every water change. Add in bio ring in my HOB 4 months back.

dont do too much WC. i mean the percentage. just change about 20% of your water enough. 80% really toooooooooooooooo much.

im wondering is it crs mating season now?? my female crs laid of some shrimplets and after a day i found her pregnant again...

Sorry being very busy reply late, Yes.. Mini Puffer's Have attitude of its own.. some eat blood worms some don't u need to get the Small little tiny blood worms don't get the BIG one's which hard to eat.. they got sell frozen small size..

The fertilizer is product from World Aquatic Ecosystem Sdn. Bhd.. I bought it from 2010 Aqua fair. This company said this product have not launch in the market. The product name is Power Growth.

Will HOB filter cause the algae due to poor water circulation?

me recently having some problem with my filter pump, leaking...
i been changing my pump out the tank.
is normal filter pump, just that i diy to pump out the tank.
sort of like canister filter, but then leaking now... 1 or 2 days have to pump some water out from the container... lol

Unfortunately it did not list out the content. Just a normal info like the dosage and what is the benefit of using this product....Too bad... Until now i have not seen they launch this product. Maybe is failure product......

It has been really long since i last kept any fish..i remember when i 1st started when i was like 4 or 5 yrs old with a small plastic tank full of shrimps...where u bought 1 packet for 50Cents but shot up to RM1.00 now...and seeing below..really make me have sudden urge to re-setup my tank.. Nice picture you got there ProX..and for the rest of u folks, keep the pictures of your aquarium flowing..!! It makes ppl like me that check out this thread once a while to reminisce over how nice it is to have a matured aquarium @ home...~ u guys rock..!!

I'm using EHEIM classic 2213 for 6 months now, to me it seems just right for my 100 liter tank. Flow is not too much, not too little. I like it...

I clean it every 3 months, cause by then the fine filter sponge will be blocked and the filter will start making some sound. Not very audible, by if you put your ear close, you know the motor sound changed...

IME, the priming is ok, but there is a lot of trapped bubbles because of the media basket, cause its not a tight fit to the canister. So there is bubbles between the media basket and the canister.
I recently just DIY my own lattice screen so that I can fill in the filter media just like a 2215 or 2217. I could put in more bio rings and the priming was so smooth. Before this I had trapped air for at least 1 weeks, now all the air were released on the first prime.

To me, it works, its extreme silent, good flow, and most importantly its EHEIM...
