SCH H is just a regulation to protect homebuyers compared to if you buy commercial. Previously pre 2008, all serviced apartments not regulated by SCH H.

It is a question of risks vs rewards.

Pls enlighten me with your views.

Any reply from purchasers/vested parties will be met with skepticism and sarcasm, so why bother to ask in the first place?

If one is truly interested to find out, he/she can check the developer directly.

If there's demand for micro apartments, developers will continue to build them. It's happening in other countries, not just in Malaysia.

There are many similar products out there already completed, vp-ed and occupied. Hints given earlier. If ur concern kochin kor about the usage, pls post ur concern in those threads. Some of the projects vp-ed 2-3years and occupied well.

It is still unknown what summer suites will turn out to be.

I did checked with sunrise then. They told me for office use mah. But some vested parties claims can use as resi. Hence the ambiguity pique my curiosity.

And for your information, there are governing guidelines for minimum sf as residential locally. Not just because of demand and any developer can just build.

Fully understand vested parties will protect their investment.
But why vested parties are so concern about not obtaining dual usage status or if it is pure office use purpose?

Great product and great price. Why worry?

This products was launched using office title with the intention of getting rid of resi ltv90%, if it does, then only bank got "cheated". As long as Buyers know what they are buying into, then ok already. When it comes to subsales, willing buyer and willing seller.

There are reasons why developers sell and buyers buy such products. It is a question of risks vs rewards.

There are thousands of proper residential properties out there if ur requirement is residential title.

Sovo/sofo obviously not everyone's cup of coffee or tea.

It is risk vs rewards and market supply and demand in my opinion.

I vested my 1hours time just to read the recent posting due to very " hot " here.

Thanks to all sifu I learned a lot more so called " soXo " from this hot topic.

Worried? I find it hilarious that a non vested parties is more "worried"/interested about the occupation of this project than I am as a purchaser!

I have zero interest in guidelines, so long developers obtain the necessary approval from authorities to build and complete their products.

It is still early days and if Summer Suites doesn't perform up to expectations, I'll dump it as soon as possible. There's nothing to protect and you can't argue with facts and figures. Debating about it online will not magically turn things around. Can't afford to be stupid like Genneva Gold investors.

Vested parties concerned about not obtaining dual usage status? That's not the impression I get from reading this thread. From what I gather, there's plenty of owners(myself included) happy with the end product. LAD is just the icing on the cake.

Oh now its a great product at a great price...OK!
