QUOTE(vikingw2k @ Dec 30 2010, 10:55 PM) Wipe your flash with a wet cloth to remove the sea water stain. You have two options - Take a jar of rice, put your flashgun in it for a few days and take it out to test. - Put in behind your refrigerator for a couple of days and test it. actually, i already did dis - rinse with tap water - wipe dry - put it in a microwave container (air tight ) with rice i dare not to take out and try it lolz..maybe after one month? hahahaha

la la la la la why? » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « for several month, i felt my zoom arent smooth, but i ignore it, i think it was some 'aging' symptom of my lens... but today, it suddenly stop zooming, my lens, turn from 17 to 50, pass 50, turn turn turn back to 17, one round -___- so its time to dissect it... so guess what i found? One Single Screw is Loose... QUOTE(fieznur81 @ Dec 30 2010, 09:32 PM) Hi guys, i'm newbie at dslr. I wanted Sony dlsr, not interested in canon or nikon as i did have a H50 currently. Just want to ask for opinion, between a330, a580, a55 and nex-5, which one on overall is better, say in techs, future-proof, price to features and all? I'm seriously thinking on A55 but still if got feedback from pro (u guys lar), it would make my day. I think a lot of people (beginner as me) might be benefits fron this, right? A55 quite decent, but i decided to go with A580 for its bigger body built + BG availability. QUOTE(sinclairZX81 @ Dec 30 2010, 10:04 PM) Hi all I was considering to get the A33 kit as a beginner. Could anybody advise how is the video quality of this camera? Sorry if this has been answered before. Thanks. The video quality good enough for you to use in anything you can think off lol~ Quite decent, but it tends to overheat a bit.

My pick would be between A55, a580 and nex-5. Pick the Nex if you want your camera to be compact. A55 offers one of the best features per value on the market but it is small and people with big hands might feel uncomfortable holding it. a580 is bigger than A55 but lacks some of the features of the A55 DSLT such as the 10fps burst and the phase shift AF detection during video (not sure about this 1). In the end its up to your own preference. Just go to a camera shop and try all 4 cameras and just pick the 1 which suits you best.
