haha...cannot la.....i won't waste it on one night event...in the future i'll need to play with some zoom smile.gif

hehe...thanks for all the advice i get...for now i really understand more about alpha accessories for instant ex-flash.....you guys explain most thing i wanted to hear.....

i already planned what to get now in conjunction with the budget i have hmm.gif

until i get one we can discuss the full usage experience again...hehe...since i have nothing in hold now to discuss wink.gif

great that u already made up ur mind .

on the side note, grabbing a 50mm prime is not a waste... u gonna buy it after all

ask all other forummer, almost 8/10 of them have a 50mm

primes are good in terms of sharpness and experience not to mention the large aperture rclxms.gif

for myself , i used primes for a few months namely 28mm and 50mm for all my shoot until i made up my mind to specialise in portrait photography and get a zoom.

even that, i still plan to keep my primes biggrin.gif just cant let it off...love it too much

P/S : u can still zoom wif primes, use ur legs

Told ya the vertical grip is useless laugh.gif
*
eh eh ITS USEFUL larrrr... i tried to remove it to reduce the weight and want to see how it feels like if i were to buy an a55 in the future ...but with the tamron 17-50 on my a300 the whole weight distrubution is soooo uneven...even more so when i hold it in portrait orientation...vertical grip really helps in this sense.can hold my camera comfortably with one hand~...

QUOTE(evilhomura89 @ Dec 28 2010, 08:18 PM)
mind to share what photography project do you have in mind now that requires a body with f2.8 lens n external flash?

aww.. my eyes..  cry.gif but never mind, the one put on wishlist is the next FF

@evilhomura89
agree..

@Codyx
i can pretty much survive with kitlens aperture around f/4~f/5.6 (+1 and +2 stop respectively) with ISO 800 at A200 at low-light situation
of course, the image might end up have shake and might unusable with noise, but for me, i shoot at RAW(at specific time), most of the time under-expose (by -0.3EV ~ -0.7EV) the image, then edit back at pc, and then it's still pretty good. smile.gif

but if A55 is your target, at ISO 1600 or ISO 3200, i think it should be no prob right?

2.8 was recommended by most of my contacts....i was brief to get one and dump the kit lens.....nobody saying kit lens was bad....it just my dedicated upgrade anyway icon_rolleyes.gif ....i'll use the lens for multipurpose as i believe it will be slightly better than the kits lens in most way....

still....ex-flash was my main priority.....i just want to spend my buck for the best purpose....not planning for any soon upgrade or add-ons after this....hope you guys understand....

i got my ex-flash before the f2.8. icon_rolleyes.gif

though the lens is much better in many ways than a kit lens with a f2.8. i can leave my flash in my bag for most of the time now.

Sony has the plan to double its image sensor production! That’s why they will invest $1.2B in the next financial year to convert a plant in Nagasaki for the production of CMOS sensors. After that the total production of CCD and CMOS sensors will increase to 50,000 300mm wafers a month by March 2012. Hey Sony, what will you do with all that CMOS sensors? Are those meant for the new NEX-7, A77, A750, A950 we were long waiting for?
