both have it's pro and cons....

CZ16-80, u get sharpness and wider angle of vision .
if 28-75, u get f/2.8 which is quite useful indoors.

CZ16-80 is much more of kitlens replacement, and if u are getting 28-75, make sure u are comfortable with the range.

PErsonally, I use Sigma 28-70, it's not really as wide as you think.
I get used to a 28mm prime before buying the sigma

Range wise, CZ is better..
But u don't really need the f2.8 if u have flash to back u up..
And YES.. Flash is really-really important

Now I only know when I attach my 17-50 tamron lens to a55 every I zoom I push hard then lost detect already need offs and on back why ar? But other lens no problem and 17-50 I attach to a550 no problem how to slove it.
