I think the focus went to his sleeves instead of his eye..how to avoid this problem in future?? reviewing on the spot is kinda time consuming worr...

1. ask the model give you some time...slowly focus..

2. practice Manual focus... the more you practice...the more accurate your focusing..

3. buy a camera(a55) which has face detection

zstan, i tried the a55 ...really feature packed.. but the evf made me felt slightly woozy and felt like puking after a while.....

so i guess either an ultra sharp lens (G or Zeiss) could be the solution or more practice...rite?? eahhaeheahae

i always select the box (aka focus point) that i want to use in local focus mode (instead of spot or wide) to get the right focus

Whether its time consuming or not, Its always better than coming back and regret, should do this should do that.

Anyways, Use the Center AF point, Lock the focus on the eyes, reframe it and snap. I guess you were using the Auto AF point thingy?

why use Center AF then recompose?even albert doesnt recommend to recompose...use local AF better maa... *double facepalm*

i thought center AF more sensitive? and then with AF-S, we can half press and recompose right??
