It's definitely a external mic + 5dMKII audio codec problem, at least when played back on WP7 devices.

I did another video with just the audio exported as MP3, and again, no sound. But when I use the camera's built in mic the sound plays back OK. This sucks!

Why am I so passionate about this? HD video on WP7 looks good, simple as that. smile.gif

Want to ask other WP7 users here.. I'm currently using the Mozart with Digi Smart plan. I dunno why, but when I'm using the data connection only, I can't open any youtube videos. However, normal surfing seems to be fine. I tried this with several youtube apps available in the marketplace.

But if I connect to any wireless networks, youtube runs fine. Can anybody help me solve this problem?

you can check them out in the marketplace. some are free, some need to pay. Just like the appstore.

Not loading slow, cannot open the video at all. The error is something like " Clip is unavailable at the moment, please try again later". But if I switch to wireless, immediately I can load the vid.

marauderz: This is the zipped file of the audio clips. Both plays fine on computer, try out converting to mp3 and sync into your wp7 phone.

Check if you're using the DiGi WAP or DiGi in HTC connection setup, according to my observation, using DiGi WAP CANNOT access YouTube video, while using DiGi (which i assume is DiGi Internet), I can stream the video without problems.

Interesting, the audio codec isn't mentioned at all in the file, this came from some other type of hardware? looks like you'll need to prep it in some other way first before you can use it. errr.. have you tried passing it through windows movie maker?

It was recorded on a DSLR. I compiled clips in the office's iMac with iMovie - don't feel like doing video work at home (after office hours). sad.gif

I don't know about DiGi or Maxis, but under Celcom, I could use either the HTC Youtube software or the browser mobile youtube software to watch. Yes, sometimes the error does pop up, especially if signal strength not so strong, but under Celcom, a refresh does the trick.

*Note: Step 8 take the longest without % indicator from Zune. check your phone's screen, a white bar indicator is moving slowly like a snail.
