lol, mine is in between cancelled card and still exist since i cancel it last year bcos heard of gst. then i called to reinstate it bcos hv installment in it since i hv to pay 1 lump sum if i cancel. So wat i think Maybank do is just maintain the card in database so i finish paying the installment but i never get the gst until now. of cos i don't hold the card anymore

coz too many ppl applied, so scb decided to do damage control

its not for fresh graduate. but u must have degree. no matter even if u graduated 10 years ago. as long as it is degree

SCB gave me free 11,000 points to offset the service tax. I redeemed the service tax payment by using 10,000 points. In the end, I still earned an additional 1,000 points without having to spend extra.


SCB JustOne Titanium is no longer open to new application since end of last year. It was mainly due to the overwhelming response as this card gives 5% cash back on Frdays and 2% cash back on non-Fridays for all retail purchases (including petrol). There is no cash back cap per month, but it is capped per year at RM600. On top of that, every RM2 spent (excluding petrol) is also entitled to 1x choice point.

so now i just keep quiet

lump sum pay all the remaining balance 1 shot.

example:
u purchase thing rm4500 with installment plan for 24 months, so u need to pay rm187.50 monthly for 24months.
if u want to cancel the card on 11 month, u need to pay the remaining 13 months (rm2437.50) for 1 lump sum.
plus rm50 penalty for cancelling the installment (fee depends on bank).

Are you having more than one SCB card? If you have 2 SCB CCs, then having 2x free 11,000 points would make sense.

Yes, sometimes I do feel that SCB JustOne Titanium is better than OCBC Titanium.
