Nothing wrong with Charge Card.
There must be some facilities Charge Card can't offer but CC can. Instalment plan for example? I'm not sure.

Charge card is convenient for those who always spend beyond the CL of their other CCs. They do not need to "beg" the banks to increase their CLs.

please elaborate more, i would like to know...

charge card offered to people who pay full amount. then installment is no need

summary:

no credit limit. u can swipe as much as u want. when the bill come to you, must pay in full at 1 time.

if not settled in full by the payment due date, a late payment charge of 3.5% per month will be levied.

(for credit card, the late charge is only around 1.125% - 1.5% per month).

I stil think it is better than none.
You may think you don't need to pay by installment, but for those who has tight cash flow, installment is very useful.

if want to use installment plan, then use normal credit card lah

i dont think that there is person who have only charge card. coz not all place accept amex

then come the sad part, how the heck can i pay back, lol

right after u swipe for that brand new ferrari, amex will check ur records - annual salary, payment history, etc2 - declined

yaloh, especially now so many bank giving great deals like Public Bank 1.5%/year

can buy brand new car with credit card eh? last time i bought proton for my dad, they said only deposit rm500 can swipe, balance asked me to make a bankers cheque

rugi 36k points! change to cashback can get rm150!

If that particular merchant offers 10x MR pts, but he/she has only Charge Card? Small amount nevermind, big amount is quite heartache. Swt.

choose 10x mr points then 3.5% or just 1 point but no %?

btw like i told previously, some places (in spore and medan) only accept visa. no mastercard, no amex. so really headache to pay if no cash and no visa

may i know what is the hype abt OCBC Titanium card?

my best card so far is with Public Bank which offered my great rebate this whole year 2010 getting rebate each month ranging from RM80 to max RM150. current rebate is until RM100 until Feb 2011

anyone know what is the promotion for MBF cards that says can use RM2000 and no need to pay up to 3 year just the minimum amount
