LoL, I know what you are referring to - the pure white bunnies with red eyes happy.gif But no, that's not what I'm asking.. erm.. how to say.. I have a gray bunny - which I have no idea what breed it is, and she has red eyes.  smile.gif Does this mean she is unhealthy or has some genetic disorder  rclxub.gif

eye color and fur colour can consider to be differnt genes... very hard to explain

mine shreds. we keep ours on a rack and she always goes under and pulls them.
but if its piled on the floor she likes to jump and sit on top. then she'll stand up and scan...
sometimes watching her shredding the paper can be very funny. more like a dog. laugh.gif

not very into books. she'll just bite/nibble a few then runs off.

Ah what luck, found a bunny 3 nights ago (I'm in Melbourne) and it was the cutest fella ever. Very friendly, behaves like a dog (rolls on its back asking us for a belly rub), asking me to chase it by running around me... But unfortunately, it wouldnt stop chewing the carpet, so it has to go. Tried looking for the owner by putting up posters, calling pounds, RSPCA, animal hospitals, vets, etc... NOTHING.

So after 3 days, we decided its best for the bunny to be handed over to the Vet hosp... I hope it is in good hands smile.gif

hello all! =D
I love my rabbit alot (hes name is pillow) but I dont really understand rabbit wells. :| especially if he is playing or not, im not sure.
He runs around the room, across the bed in super fast speed, but he only runs when I try to touch him (it only happened once)
He used to lick my legs and finger (a few weeks after i got him) but now he bites me instead. (like nibbling but painful)
maybe I brought him to the vet the other day for an injection and now he hates me? XD
I dont think hes scared of me, because I can massage his head and he purrs when i do that. But he runs from me at the same time. D:

don't worry, you rabbit definately don't hate you. Rabbit like to nib at you when they want your attention and it is the nature of a happy rabbit when they suddenly run very fast. Some rabbits do not really like human touch, that is y they will sometime run away, touch or scrap them at the right spot and they will be still and enjoy it. my brown bunny Coco has been with me for almost 5 years and still run away from me. doh.gif

Hi to all bunny lovers..
First time here, learnt much knowledge after browsing through the conversations, anyway, buying a plastic house for my grey Sabrina isnt a bad idea..

However, i m a bunny lover, but nevertheless, my works require me to travel 2 weeks in a month to other ASEAN countries. Sabrina was a gift from my colleagues, she is lovely. After an unexpected mating process she had with my friend male bunny during my business trip. There are an extra 4 white bunnies, and after a 6 mths taking care of them. I M SUPER HEADACHE.

i m staying in a condo, having Sabrina itself isnt that bad as i will play with her and she can escape freely from the cage when i m around. But now, the extra 2 white bunnies (2 r given to my relatives) are giving me much troubles, shits and biting everywhere when i loosen them. Especially when i m outstation, my hsemate only promised to feed but not cleaning up, it stinks everywhere....

I m here to look for some sincere and loving owners who can take care of my two 6 months old baby bunnies, both are believed to be female after checking out myself. I will still be keeping my grey Sabrina.
Any one interested, pls inform me as soon as possible. I want them to be more happy and appreciated, instead of stuck in the cage for days.

Kindly PM me if anyone interested. Preferred areas are Subang, PJ, Damansara or KL, easier for me to visit them.

Need helps!!

Snowy is about 7months dy. shes been an only "child" for 5mths dy, not sure how she would react to the new ones.

good luck in finding a happy home for them.

Hi Ally, having 1 or 2 bunnies are just nice as i m not staying at a landed property, limited space for them to play around.

Thanks for your advise, will post in the adoption thread then =)

Haii all,

I visited my uncle's family's house recently & found their rabbit to be kept in a tiny little cage, just twice the size of the adult rabbit with a lot of poop on its' butt. The fur in the rear end was matted as well.

I plan on visiting the bunny again and bringing it a few carrots.
What else should I bring to feed the poor thing?

It's been taken care of pretty okay but it's caged up all day so I'll probably ask if I can bring it out to hop around.

Anyone got a cage that they'd like to donate because I don't really have much money to buy a big cage. x(

I hate to see a bunny being kept in such a tight space.

I have a small bottle of vitamin supplements for small animals as well. Can I put a bit of it in the rabbit's water?

Thank you.
Suggestions are appreciated.

how old is the rabbit?
don't feed too much carrots. how about hay or fresh vegies? on the first page theres a list of what to feed.
not sure about the supplements tho.
maybe you can help to give it a comb too, at least try to clean out the poop. if its serious then i suggest for your uncle to take it to the vet.
cant help with the cage part...

Snowy hopes everyone is enjoying their weekends like her.
She gets to sit in the garden the whole day. Not to mention terrorizing my dad's plants

I don't know. I asked but my grandmother said it's more than 1 year old, that's for sure.

Ah okay. No, it's not serious. It just doesn't get any freedom to hop around happily.
