i am currently looking for field engineer position in oil and gas service provider or contractor, any one of you know about which company is looking for engineer, kindly let me know. your help is much appreciate! between i am civil engineering degree holder with 1 year working experience with a marine construction company base in singapore. thanks for help~ smile.gif

They are hiring this year. The next hiring season would be 3 to 4 years ahead. So be fast.

The O&G market is on the uptrend so better catch the peak before tge cycle comes down again. The last hiring uptrend was in 2006-2007.

I wanna share with u about O&G job,Actually we got another company that u alls should know, such as KPOC( this com jv with shell, petronas carigali and conoco Phillips), Do u know about Murphy oil? Emm this is another Texas company to assist petronas explore the O&G, Petrofac also one of the same exploration company guys, then Talisman always invite and give an opportunity to Malaysian. Sometimes they offered for fresh grad bro... MISC subsidiary by Petronas is the one largest company with multiple business included petroleum, I hope u are alert with companies that I just mentioned.I also eager to join them but still no luck but the hard effort is the keys to us.

Your 1 year experience in marine construction is worth nothing once you get into oil and gas. Expect a standard fresh grad's pay. And why would you want to come back to malaysia?
