I would like to try to apply for a job in O&G field, by looking at the front page company listing, I can't seem to find any company that would like to hire employee in Malaysia except for Shell?

Maersk-Drilling looking newly graduates or graduates with 1 or 2 yrs experience for their Trainee Driller Program, Rig Manager Trainee Program and Graduate Program...But not sure whether they take malaysian for their program.

Last 2yrs, my friend was invited for the interview in their office in Singapore and they pay for his travel expenses from KL to Singapore.

I think my previous company(GLC) is looking for a Trainee Drilling Engineer but not sure whether it is still available or not..and yes, there are few of local drilling contractor companies such as Kencana Petroleum, Sapuracrest, UMW(UMWSD, Petrodrill and UJD), SAAG....

I think Transocean is not recruiting fresh grads for their Trainee Program like before. they just recruit those who have 1 or 2 yrs experience...correct me if i'm wrong...cheers

they are more to fabricating things like Boiler and stuff which supplies to Mackenzie Industries

a pressure vessel, process equipment fabricator, like KNM, Petra, AMC, AMB...

May i know is that true that work in petroleum field especially worker at platform can harm healthy...eg: expose to harmful chemical and etc..
i'm curious bcoz many people said that...

i still study and i'm looking into work in petroleum field as reservoir engineer in future...
