Usually, or at least in petronas and its subsidiaries.... For fresh grads they seldom ask technical stuff, bcos those stuff you will learn on the job, as most of the time the job is specialized, for example if you go do comissioning, you have to learn the standard method used in the organization, paperworks, reporting and such...

What they usually do in interview is to see your confidence level and conversation skills....

During my time in one of petronas subs, the scenario that i get is i am a factory onwer, and some kind of pollution happens at the factory, i need to answer to reporter and the authority, the nterviewers. They will try to provoke and turn the facts around to see if you will budge.
The 2nd one is about newspaper that i usually read if i'm not mistaken...
